This Weeks Other Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Aug 31, 2013 10:03 am

I know last weeks thread is still there but it's not this weeks is it. A fresh thread for the minor games to be played ;-)

Today

Cardiff v Everton 15:00
Newcastle v Fulham 15:00
Norwich v Southampton 15:00
West Ham v Stoke 15:00
Crystal Palace v Sunderland 17:30

Tomorrow

Liverpool V Man Utd 13:30
West Brom V Swansea 13:30
Arsenal V Tottenham 16:00

I think we can all say that the major games are tomorrow which could see the likes of the Dippers and Spuds top the league with maximum points from 3 games. It'll be a tough ask though and I'm just hoping the ref doesn't play a big part in either game, especially the Rag game like last year.

With Chelsea already having played their game against Villa (robbed) then there's going to be some shuffling of the pack. We need to take full advantage today and put a marker down, ensuring that we keep at least within 1 point of the likes of Chelsea. 2 draws from the Super Sunday games will do me just fine.

That Cardiff/Everton game could be a cracker, especially if last week's Cardiff turn up. And come on liverpool (only say that twice a season)!

Two draws tomorrow would be great, but I wouldn't mind spuds winning solely as it would be another nail in whingers coffin, losing at home to their north London rivals will definitely get the fans backs up, oh and that twatter p Morgan ;-)

I'm just wondering at what point will Spuds get their penalty!

Absolutely, two draws in the two televised games tomorrow and a win for us today would be a good weekend of results.

We don't want a gap being created, even this early on.

Got the Leeds v QPR game on, Shaun, Ned, the Dunney Monster and 'Thanks Joey' all start.

Get half hour in before the game.

Hope Liverpool and Spuds win. Would love more trouble and doubt creeping in at Arse and Filth.

Few nearly moments, mostly for Newcastle, Fulham are mostly restricted to outside the area.

Do not want to see spuds gather momentum, as they may finally have the players to sustain it this year. Plus I fucking hate them.

Should've been a penalty for the Toffees.

Seriously, I am staying up late for Palace vs Sunderland?

They should just rename it "We Don't Care vs About This Timeslot".

Very occasionally these type of games turn out to be crackers. Let's hope so, at this rate MOTD won't have a single goal to show.

My hope lies with Di Canio.
