Easily. Class

He is now their best player. However, they needed a striker and defenders, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Well, 11 o clock and that's it finished. Or it should be?

Has Barry signed for them or were they chasing around for McCarthy instead?

We may have left Bazza to the last minute so that the Rags wouldn't/couldn't get Fellaini. Sounds like it failed.

Supposedly that's why Jose didnt sell Ba to Arsenal

I repeat its the James McCarthy deal that will influence the Fellaini switch to the rags. McCarthy for £14m is spending some of the £28m or so the rags will pay for felliani

i was commenting on the "Jose wouldnt do that" part because he's right.

Looks like they are saving it for their fans, bringing the 'Big' signing to the fore in the latest 'Breaking News'.

I hear he's asleep in the airport.

PS. Best signing, ever. That shoulder in the Muncih Derby win was pure class.

I fully expect the fellaini deal to go through however I don't particularly give a fuck as he's just not that good.

Excellent work by Everton if that's true, they don't even have to pay a loyalty bonus.

Couldn't they have got him for 23.5 mil a few weeks ago.

Selling Fellaini and getting for McCarthy for half the price is seriously good business for Everton.

Really rate McCarthy. Would not have mind if we had signed him as a squad player. His best years are ahead of him.

They could, but apparently they are no longer able to 'do what they want' (i.e. drive down the price). I'm chuffed to fucking bits, they've gone backwards on the pitch, as well as in the dugout and in the boardroom....

All three players massively improve their side. Plus they have 14 million in their coffers. A good day for them.

And a quality manager to go with them. Could be an eye-opening season for their fans.
