If he'd have some career path or education to fall to then fair enough but I wonder whether he even has done his A-levels. Out there in real world he is nothing but some kiddo who wasted the time others were educating themselves playing football. So what he is looking for here is maybe some cleaning job or flipping burgers in McD, maybe just maybe some day graduating into carrying bricks for bricklayer when he is 40. And that is if he actually gets lucky and gets a job. What I understand about the economic situation in Ireland right now, even those jobs will not be easy to get. Does he think he is going to love that more than playing football?
He will wake up to harsh reality one day and kick himself for what he has done.

He could be like Onuah whos probably more qualified than most people on here and wants to take a different path because he's not some thick little football kiddie and maybe he fancies moving into medicine or architecture or something that he's always wanted to do
