The mirror doing the usual. The rags attack was "exciting", while our win wasn't impressive.
A game they won by an own goal against complete shit opposition.
It never ends. ..

Anyhoo, I had the pleasure of watching a stream from Setanta Ireland last night and the co-commentator was Brian Little, it was refreshing to hear an honest, balanced ( if not slightly pro-City ) take on the match.
Why anyone would give their hard earned to S*y is beyond me.

It's beyond you?
It's not that hard to contemplate. They show a huge amount of matches, including plenty of City ones, they show La Liga, the CL, heck even the odd league cup game.
They also broadcast other sports (yes other sports do exist) like Cricket, tennis, rugby, formula 1 etc which people enjoy.
And I'd far rather pay for that then watch on a crappy stream on the internet.
Yeah the commentators are a bit shit but don't get why so many people care. When I'm watching a match I'm focusing far too much to even give a shit or listen to what the commentators are saying. It's not like you have them at a game is it?

Crappy stream? Why does it need to be crappy? When these games are live on TV there's not as much traffic online and the streams are top quality.
Yes it is beyond me why people would line the pockets of the wankers that run that organisation and to make matters worse listen to the fuckwits that work for them scoff at the team they support. Baffles me in fact.

You just need to find someone with Sky and share their feed on Sky Go. It's even legit - there's a part on the 'your account' section where they let you set up others to have access to it. 60Mb broadband, laptop, hdmi, big TV and not a penny to Murdoch - wonderful.
Pity you still have to put up with Tyler...
Bridge'srightfoot wrote:But I find that approach almost hypocritical. To say 'I hate sky, can't stand it and won't pay for it, yet i'll still watch it on sky go'
You're still watching it! I completely get some people can't afford Sky and therefore use someone's Sky Go but If you hate it that much then surely you would refuse outright to ever watch a match on it.
And re Murdoch, yes he's a cunt and I brought him up but don't want this to turn into a political debate.
To me, I don't watch it for the commentary, during a match I hardly ever take note of what they're saying because i'm focusing on the match itself. You don't exactly have commentary at a live game. I rarely watch the build up's as they're shit boring and mainly time fillers consisting of standard interviews.
However the sheer quantity of high quality sports they offer outweighs a bit of biased commentary imo.
