hahaha as much as Tyler is a cunt, you've gotta admit - he called the yaya thing. So, so blatant.

He was also willing us to do it so that UEFA could investigate and take action.

I'm sure that was his angle. Martin Tyler has always been held in high regard at uefa.

I thought the commentary was very poor tonight. I watched various parts of the Chesea and Arsenal games last night and especially listened to the commentary. All of it was positive to the English teams, very partisan. Contrasting that to our commentary tonight then it's very different.

I can understand in the PL where they are bigging up the underdog, and I understand that Niall Quinn (no Quinny anymore, definately no Disco pants) now has an affinity to Plzen (his trip out) but in the CL surely they should be talking up the English team.

The thing with us now is that we are big business and they will always relate it back to the PL and England. Tonight we had lots of talk of Joe and the amount of back slapping for him during and after the game was amazing. Even I, as a Joe fan, was taken aback at the amount of pro-Joe shit they come out with. They even said that his distribution has always been excellent yet how many times have we seen that?

Then they related everything back to the PL, ready for the next underdog ready to play the team that have the dodgiest defence. It's all about the Sky paying fan for them and they'll regularly use our club as the anti-christ to what football stands for and although I understand it, I do not want to hear the sheer celebration that Tyler gives when an opposition team scores a goal. That 1st goal for them was disgusting.

He mentioned the rags twice, drew attention directly to yaya and screamed uncontrollably when they scored their first.

Sure, yaya definitely went for the yellow. But at the end of the day, Tyler waited with that information and Implyed exploitation of the rules before it happened.

Everytime this thread is brought up, there are excuses given by the same people as to why he spouts ths shite he does.

There should be no need for excuses. In fact, there should be no need for a thread about a commentator, who's primary job is to give unbiased and clear commentary about what he sees.

Agree with that. Hart's distribution is probably the worst aspect of his game and generally really poor. Had a couple of good kicks tonight but he's not a 'fantastically clean kicker of the ball' as Quinn suggested.

Very odd.

You don't get that shit from me pal, but I thought the commentary was fine tonight on balance. Some of it, like the 'Hart's amazing distribution' bit was very strange, but I thought Quinn did quite well, and it was good to see him actually get off the fence and go after demichelis for his idiotic defending and question what the club are actually doing in training.

Tyler, he is a snide cunt generally, but he commentates largely like an excited child and shit comes out of his mouth with no thought a lot of the time which is just nonsense. But these were the same two talking Aguero up there with Messi and Ronaldo, positively gushing over our home form, and reflecting our own perplexion over our defensive stupidity and ineptitude.

As a neutral, I can see how a Pilzen goal would be exciting, big underdog against big bad city, or the goal would push city to work harder and make the game a more entertaining spectacle.

Really, I have few complaints about them both tonight.

He was at his slimy dispicable best for periods in the 2nd half last night . It just seems he cant wait to go all negative on us , this never happens when he "does" other English teams in the CL or the Premier League for that matter. Quinn seemed much more at ease and always looked to the positive in general ......deffo no snideness from him last night i thought . Tyler just gets on my tits bigtime ...... first class cunt.

Easy solutions for not hearing Tyler. Go to the match or if you can't then as soon as you know he is commentating, hit the mute button. Simples!

I go to the games but always save them on sky plus and watch them again . The cunt is always "doing" us , he is our bad mouth stalker . Its like when you have seen the game live for yourself and enjoyed it then watch it on the box to catch up with it again and all you can hear is pure slimy shite . What was with his celebration telling the world Aguero is injured ????? There was clearly fuck all wrong with Kun .

Anyone notice Tyler's first words last night? The introductory sentence involved City's 'lack of pedigree in Europe'.
