Purely objectively, if you ignore their personalities, then I'd say Suarez. I think he's the more talented player and over the last 18 months or so has been consistently better than Aguero. Scored more, assisted more, scored in more games However you look at it, he's been the better player and he's done it in an inferior side.
But I'm not sure I could stomach seeing that cunt in a City shirt.

I never claimed it was the same.
When you're considering who the better player is then all attributes have to be taken into the equation imo including character, which Aguero wins hands down. There's also the team to consider so teamwork is another attribute that's important, again Aguero wins out here for me. Technical ability, finishing, pace, dribbling etc. there's very little to choose between them with Suarez possibly having the edge slightly.
Another thing to note is that you're comparing both over 18 months in which Aguero was carrying an injury for almost 12 of them months.

He may have been carrying a slight injury but that shouldn't totally excuse his form. He was poor last season. He'll admit that himself.Maybe it was the manager? Maybe the system but he just wasn't producing the goods and just didn't look like he was enjoying his football. He blew very hot and cold.
Last season Suarez was hands down the better and more consistent player. This season Aguero's been superb but Suarez has still scored two more in 3/4 fewer games. And as I mentioned before, in terms of consistency, they have the same ratio of total games played to games they've scored in.
I just think Suarez is an absolute magician of a footballer, I don't even know if Messi or Ronaldo could score 3 goals of that quality in a single game. It was like watching a match on Fifa. Watching the first and third especially. Just phenomenal.
If only he wasn't such a cunt.

I suspect this is a new contract to increase his salary and increase what Liverpool get for him when Madrid come.

Without a doubt. £60m for the release clause?

Bridge'srightfoot wrote:I love Aguero, but Suarez is just on another level this season. He has 19 goals in half a season, which considering he missed the first 5 or 6 games is startling. Possibly the most technically gifted player I've seen in the PL, up there with even the likes of Henry and Ronaldo.
