So are we going to shake them off or what? Cant be doubted that as well as we are doing.. for all the goals etc they are still doing the business.

They have a good defence this season. Based or Per and Koscielny with a solid midfield including holding players. They are not conceding many at all so it will be down to how they get on against the top 4 or 5 other sides. If they get that right they will be very serious contenders.

Chelsea,Liverpool,Everton,Spurs away Us and the rags at the emirates.Which top 4 team have they beat at home this season i will tell you Liverpool and that was without Suarez in the dippers team apart from them they have beat fuck all.Lost to the rags at the swamp fuck me even WBA won there they got mullered by us at the Etihad and lost to proper teams at the Emirates like Dortmund in the CL and Chelsea in CO1Cup drew with the best team i have seen at City this season Everton who in the first half played them off the park.Arsenal are fuckin stealing points at the moment and they will crumble come the big games like they always do.

Arsenal are not a good team. In fact they're no better than the rags. It's just teams seem to lie down for them like they used to against united.

Both teams will drop points. "Just" isn't all we need nor the opposite were we to drop points there.

Come march 1 if its still this tight then I'll get worried maybe its just their season.

Arsenal are a good team Mase, they're currently the best performing team in England so I'm not wearing that bollox. They might fade away in the second half of the season as in previous years but they're very well placed for a push for the title this year.
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I disagree. I think they are a very strong team, at least their first 11.

However I also think they are 1-2 injuries away from collapse (Oezil and Cazola).

Their February fixture list looks tough though, let's hope they drop points, I am not convinced that we will beat them at the Emirates.

Arsenal are still doing what they have been doing all season; winning the games you would have expected them to win.

Usually, they chuck away some points in a few games you would bank on them winning & that's the biggest difference.

This season, they haven't done that very often, they have just lost the tough games, as they usually do.

Usually though, they have rag pressure. They know that no matter how shit the rags are, teams will roll over & the pressure fucks Arsenal up. We were well behind until Christmas & have only just started applying pressure, then Arsenal had a period of relatively easy games to hold top spot.

If Arsenal come through tough games whilst under pressure & are still at the top, then we can consider them genuine challengers (until they shit themselves & fuck up at the death).

I recon they will fuck up before then.

I still don't see Arsenal as a threat, have watched a few of their games and have not been impressed, I am awaiting their inevitable moral sapping reverse.

my worst fear actually is complacency, we become complacent then it will be our own undoing.

The run in is appearing on the horizon, we play to our optimum, then we win this League at a canter regardless off Arsenal. We are good enough to turn all around us over in their own backyards.

Pellegrini could become a legend.

I think you'll find that it starts Feb 8th and goes into April. They have two months of a shitty run coming up, we need to get ahead and by some distance in that time.

We have our fair share of tough games as well. Away to Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton. Cannot recall last time we won at Goodison. We are capable of not losing any more matches but I anticipate a charged up atmosphere at Anfield and Goodison.

I wasn't saying ours was a cakewalk...more that Arsenal have had a pretty tame run over the last month or so and that the real test is going to be when they have to navigate that run of games against top 8 sides. I can't see them coming through that without losing a couple and that is where we have the chance to pull past them
