Just that he was there for six years and trophies were hard to come by but the fans were always terrific even in league one so deserve everything we get!

"It is the same for me," says Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini when asked whether he would prefer to face Manchester United or Sunderland in the final. That has to sting a bit back at Old Trafford. - post match response in BBCbranny wrote:So who do we want in the final? Considering our record away from the Etihad against Sunderland, i'll take the derby.

Bad news blues.

But I do think it's time to calm down about Lopes. Very nice performance and 2 assists on the way to MotM ( although not for me) but let's not go OTT as some would do for players at the swamp as soon as they set foot on a pitch.

Agreed Doug. Lopes was a positive but West Ham were piss poor as well.
Passage secured and goals again for the forwards. Besides Lopes, other positives were Aguero getting fitter and Fernandinho who was the best player on the pitch. If Negredo had broken or dialocated his shoulder he wouldnt have been able to play out the last 10 mins which he did.
When Jovetic trotted on he was greeted with cries of "who the fuclin ell are you?" from our end. Did give his shirt away to a fan at the end as well. Decent away trip.and a good turnout by City fans as well with a notable few southern based Blues amongst us judging by the accents.
