As for Lescott I read that as being presently in London and him not going anywhere..

Sorry Michael, I didn't see the post match VT, just went on the comments in the link OD gave, doesn't sound good in that case (unless you are CFTG of course)...

I was sure I heard him say I hope so when asked if he would still be here. Maybe even Carl would like him around .

It probably should read "striving". Maybe they have a foreign intern on the OS?

Well judging by his comments, he doesn't want to go, so unless we are signing another player I very much doubt he will be going anywhere til summer.

Dont think he wants to go but knows he has to go to get football. Not easy going from a team at the top to a team at the bottom.

If it's upto him, I don't think he'll go now or next season. But it's not.
Imo we should sign a new cb, offer Lescott a new deal for 1 or 2 years, & if it turns out he's not getting games, offer him the chance to leave. For the sake of cutting his wages off the bill, it's not worth losing him.
He is well worth the money we pay him. If we find we truly don't need him, then let him go. But withthe injury record of VK, & the dodginess of Nastasic, even if we do sign a new cb, we may find we are glad to have JL at the club for another season at least.
