But I don't recall Mancini rushing to give Hughes credit, yet de jong, Lescott, Barry, Kompany & Zabaleta were key figures in our winning things.
Mancini took a team who may have made the top 4 and were in a semi final and won a cup and league over the next two seasons. I think he improved us from what Hughes could have done. Hopefully Pellegrini is doing the same

Whilst I cannot argue that he did buy these players he does not mention Negrado who has been a major factor this season.
To me this season is the best football we have played and for the sake of football we should win the league. MP deserves the credit for that.
Bobby is rightly quite bitter it seems. I find his comments quite one dimensional. The players look far happier and far more together this season than they ever have done. That is reflected in the way Nasri and Dzeko have played.
We have a lot to thank Bobby for me but MP is on the cusp of taking us to a level that I dont think Bobby would have achieved had he stayed.

If its the attacking, exciting, scoring goals for fun football we are seeing, then its a no brainer. Pellegrini. The man in the dugout shapes the team and dictates how the team play and his philosophy runs through the team. As such he takes the glory or the buck. Right now Pellers is basking in the sun.
If we are talking trophies, then Mancini at the moment has the edge because he has won them. However, I have no doubt that Pellers will win lots of them given time. Definately/maybe one this year.
Give credit to Mancini though as he had improved us from the previous regime, just as Hughes improved us. Its about progression and we have progressed over our last three managers imo. Something that cannot be said for a lot of our rivals. Look at the dippers. Regressed sine Benitez. Chelsea have reappointed a manager they sacked 3/4 managers ago. The swamp is a joke at the moment. Also Pellers wont be with us for a long time (10 years) imo and he will hand over the reins with the club in a better position than when he started.

And Tevez.
Mancini was considerably better than Hughes & the Count is considerably better than Mancini.
All of them have contributed to getting us where we are.

Bollocks , bringing in Navas and Negredo and actually man managing the players is the reason we are banging them in for fun and winning.................with a smile.

so if he wants the acclaim then he should shoulder all the blame for messing up in Europe twice and completely screwing up the league and cup last season. You cant have it both ways,

I don't think one of those was "messing up". Good points total in a very tough group.
