As far as actual football games go, I don't think it makes that much difference. The rags would likely raise their game because it's a derby, but Sunderland have previous for bus parking & incredible good fortune v City, so it's close.

The rags however, don't want us to win the league, & I'd be worried about the possibility of a long term serious injury if we played them, so Sunderland for that reason & also because I just don't like to see the rags beat anybody.

Sunderland all day long ... don't want Fergie and co calling in FA and ref association for favours ... why even give them a chance cuz one off game at a neutral venue, anything can happen and all it will take is an early red card or a dubious penalty to tilt it any which way they fucking want ... so I say why give them that chance ...

Plus it's more humiliating for them getting beat from a shit relegation threatened team over TWO fucking legs ...

Three months ahead of what's likely to be their last shot at the World Cup and being the selfless team players that they are I can't see either busting a gut.

"City reject" playing for a team that's become a retirement home for their shit defenders. Oh the irony.

Stuffy fookers. Welbeck miskicks straight onto Evans head a yard out unmarked. Celebration was quickly muted as it dawned.

The ref is blowing for the rags every 20 seconds. Knew it would be like this when Sunderland got that penalty.

Perhaps if Sunderland went forward with the ball when they are halfway into the rags half instead of always turning round and playing the ball back into their own half they might get a chance to score.

So here we are again and they really are rubbish aren't they? They have players playing attacking roles and seemingly all 4 are headless chickens with lots of energy so it's no surprise the goal came from a miss hit shot attempt.

Kagawa flatters to deceive.Fletcher has been awful, Carrick sits deep and is very limited,Januzaj is clearly a talented young player but they don't seem to know how to use him best and just hope he will do something special. He's good at falling over isn't he?

Welbeck all over the place and the headless leader is Hernandez. But they will win this easily I expect and the next goal will probably be from a set piece as the back post for Sunderland is just so wide open all the time.

good news is that away goals only count after extra time so if things stay the same, the rags have to hold sunderland off for an additional 30 mins

Bring on the rags in the final! After watching last seasons big games at neutral venues (Chelsea x2) and also beating the rags there in 2011, id fancy our chances against them more than another Wigan type humiliation!

It's worse the risk for me! The derbies are the games I look forward to most each year so a chance of another one would be great!

I want the rags to win so we can thrash them in the final. Besides the rags are easier than Sunderland our boogy team.

I think we have a better chance vs sunderland at a neutral ground. Plus we've gotten much much more consistent as a team since we last played them

A wembley appearance is the rags only guaranteed route into european football next year ... or maybe I'd prefer them to play Thursday nights in Eastern Europe!!??

I don't want the Rags anywhere near Wembley.
It would be nice to thrash them but I thought that 2 seasons ago when we drew them in the cup after beating them 6 - 1.
We all know what happened then. I wouldn't want another dodgy decision or decisions giving them any sort of chance.
