Reckon the first we'll hear about a transfer is when the fella is paraded in a City shirt with all the hacks scratching their heads muttering amongst themselves, 'where the fuck did that come from'.
I reckon as soon as Guillem Balague starts to tweet about it, the wheels will be in motion. He seems to have all the inside knowledge first when it comes to spanish transfers.

Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague39s
All agreed. Juan Mata will be a Manchester United player. 45 million euros. All will be announced very soon

They need to replace Ferdinand/Vidic/Evra. Their midfield consists of Carrick, Fellaini, Cleverley & part-timer Fletcher.
On top of that their wingers Young, Valencia & Nani are erratic, but their answer is to spend 40m on a position where they have Rooney, Kagawa & Januzaj? Desperately missing my arse.
They dont have a decent playmaker, a David Silva type, Mata is that and they need creativity.
I agree though they need quality all over the place, they are an ageing team and being found out now.
They already have a similar player in Kagawa on their bench who can't fit into gollum's "get the ball wide and cross" tactics. Mata wouldn't add that much on the pitch, but does offer the great line that the rags are so desperate they spent 40 mil on a 2nd string player.

It is realistic to expect Chelsea to fuck united over on this one one way or another.
Chelsea should string scum out until 31st jan then say no deal, or insist on a swap for R**ney.
Either way this is a huge opportunity for them to cause a huge fuss

Maybe its a ruse just to wind up the rags. Lull them into thinking they are still eating at top table. Then next week Jose tells them to fuck off and they are back taking crumbs and claiming he wasnt the 'right fit'.

This is PR trying to wallpaper over the cracks. If they think signing is the answer to their problems they are very very deluded.

I believe Mata is getting the number 10 shirt so it looks like Rooney is leaving. That's what I heard.

He is not Messi, but the rags with him will be better in the Cup final.
Don`t want that.

This'll be funny as fuck if true ... and we can be sure given the choice between Bayern or Scum, who Mata (or anyone for that matter) will choose ...

@EPLStuff: Sorry for the last tweet. False alarm caused by a fake twitter rumour and German accounts believing it. No Bayern bid for Mata.
