Yep. Same with questions regarding transfers in and out. He is very good at reading into when the press is fishing for a soundbite and refuses to play along. bobs and weaves all day without breaking a sweat

I've watched them and they're dour, effective but dour.

he won a CL with his dour approach with Inter. He could do likewise with Chelsea. A rich man's Mancini. I prefer the approach of the Count unleashing hell upon opponents but we all know that if he ends up trophyless for just 2 years on the trot then the fatfuck Soccs of the world will be saying "i told you so..." and who could argue?

You could argue that Mata won the CL with Chelsea and why couldn't he do it again? Because Jose doesn't want him.

Basically, Mata isn't "infinitely better" than Oscar or Ramires. Not at all imho. If we could have Mata or Ramires as cover i'd rather have Ramires given that we have Nasri and Silva. If i could have Ramires or Oscar, i'd have Oscar.

Cheers

cheers

It would have to be 2 years before the fatfuck would be that concerned and then only because of the long run he has had without winning a trophy in Europe. For this season, for sure, I will be satisfied by the awesome football. As I've said before in the o-meter thread, if he gets a trophy in the cabinet, even just the one we are in the final of, I will upgrade to "very satisfied" and I would only be raising questions if we blew top 3 and missed automatic Champions League qualification. If we keep playing like this mind, "squeaky bum time" won't be much of a concern as we'll be pulling clear of everyone. And these days I surely qualify as stocky though I admit to my head appearing bulbous due to my oversized brain.

i lost 10 lbs and gained 12 you fat bastard so get in fucking line.

I'm glad we pretty much agree on all the points above...wanna rub cocks or go to the titty bar together later?

cheers

Pellegrini didn't complain about it at all in the interview I saw.

He mentioned that he doesn't think players should be able to move between clubs in the same league during this period but nobody has broken any rules, & just fobbed it off; he clearly wasn't arsed.

i thought he was awesome in his presser. Nothing bad to say at all...stayed high level....had a unique viewpoint on mid-season transfers that wasn't just sour grapes but was more about big clubs bolstering and particularly from small clubs in an anti-competitive way, and comported himself, as he does, like a fucking regal ass motherfucker.

The only Chelsea player I would have above Mata btw, is Hazard, & that only on potential rather than actual performances.

But speaking as a former Hazard licker, he hasn't turned out quite as good as I thought he'd be & actually if you offered me a free choice of as many of Chelsea's squad as I wanted, or the money to spend on players from elsewhere, I'd have the money.

If I could pick one chelsea player, I'd take Willian in a heartbeat. Not because he is the best or most skillful chelsea player. But because he is a great asset for any top team to have and he'd fit in wonderfully here. A little bit creative, a good amount of skill, strong for a smaller guy, and very quick. And most importantly, he seems to have one of the best attitudes of any top level professional footballer out there. He never stops working, is extremely smart on the field, and keeps a level head no matter what the manager decides. And he's only 25.

Willian is like a much faster, more attack-minded Milner. It's obvious why he has played so often since the moment he signed, and why Jose likes him so much. Crazy that both him and Fernandinho were over in Ukraine for so many years!

Something funny and a little sad. Years ago I signed both of them in FM and have been following their careers ever since. However Willian was a pain in my arse and wanted money, wanted to move away. Fought every transfer window to keep him and in the end it was just too much trouble. I have to remind myself that the game isn't real life when I heard Chelsea had signed him, I thought "good player, but pain the arse, they're welcome to him."

I think it's funny rather than sinister. Chelsea have sold their best player to the rags. The rags have just spent £37 million for a player who plays in a position (more or less) in which the rags already have two outstanding players (Wooney/Kagawa).

Think he can play anywhere in a 3 behind the front man. In theory him, Rooney and Januzaj behind Van Persie would be very good. Good news is they haven't got two world class Central mids behind

Kagawa has been rubbish for ages now. It'll be rvp and rooney up top with Mata just off them. That's a very strong front 3 IF they can get them all fit and happy.

Don't worry agent Moyes has not lost it, even now he is working on cunning tactics to neutralise Mata's skill, or failing that to ensure he spends most of the season injured.

Which means Young and Valencia are going to play where exactly?

Ratboy called it when he said that they are going to have to change their entire style of play to accommodate playing Mata and Rooney in the same side.

Doesn't matter what he said around the soundbyte, only matters what was reported. He seemed to have a good point, he made a point of saying it was not in respects to the Mata transfer specifically and this is the headline from SportingLife.

Pellegrini aggrieved by Mata move

That shouldn't be a problem, as they no longer have a style of play.

He just needs to do like Mancini; organise the defence, & tell the forwards to get on with it.
