Waiting to see zuricity's response to this.

Because if there is one thing we've been lacking this season, it's firepower.

Manchester City striker Stefan Jovetic should seek January move
BT Sport columnist Mike Calvin picks five players who should consider a move in the final days of the January transfer window.

Send out the search parties. This is a missing persons alert.

The following individuals answer to the description of professional footballers, but offer scant evidence to back up such a status.

They are expensive items, with little residual value. Whatever reputation they once accumulated is in the process of being ruined.

If these shop-soiled players would like to get their careers back on track, the January transfer window would not be a bad time to break cover. They are the Premier League’s five Invisible Men:

Stefan Jovetic (Manchester City)

City manager Manuel Pellegrini has a hangdog look that doesn’t immediately identify him as one of life’s optimists, but he insists the Montenegrin forward will be available for selection this week. Given rumours Jovetic is a borderline hypochondriac, it may not be wise to hold one’s breath.

Jovetic has made only one Premier League start since his £22million summer transfer from Fiorentina. He has not been seen since October. His problems have been traced to an unspecified muscular injury, originally described as a calf problem, then as a hamstring issue, but now said to be neither. Whispers of homesickness add to the intrigue.

Played well tonight. Fair play to the lad. Has a lovely touch with an eye for a pass, always looking to keep ball moving. Shades of Berbatov about his play. Well pleased for him. I for one doubted and happy to admit was wrong.

Just what we need with the injuries to Agüero and Nasri. What a great squad and incredible manager we have! Very satisfied!

He was pretty decent tonight it has to be said. His movement off the ball is good he's constantly looking to make himself an option.Looks more than capable of adapting to the holistic approach to football.

Can't wait for him to get full match fitness. It will be like having a new January signing. Happy days! :)

Yeah same for me I think he is a few yards short of match fitness but a great alternative to have on the bench at the moment.

And he can play almost anywhere across the front line so could fill in for Nasri or Aguero (although he is nowhere near Aguero's level...yet)

Bit too flicky & clearly not match fit, but the quality is easy to see.

Loved the absolute bollocking Silva gave him when he tried an ambitious/lazy Rodney Marsh style flick down the touchline rather than running inside. Tore a fucking strip off him, even when we were winning easlily. Like it.

He did have a touch of lazy arse about him, but yeah looked quite silky in patches. Jury still out yet.

Delighted for him, getting the goal will do his confidence the world of good.

I know we've all had a "Where's Jovetic?" joke but it can't have been easy to join a new club for such a massive fee then not be able to get on the pitch for so long through injury.

He looked decent tonight, his movement was the main thing that stood out for me, especially when Navas was wide and looking to put in low crosses. He dropped the shoulder, went one, then left Dawson for dead by going the other.

I'm looking forward to seeing him when he's fully fit.

He did the heart-celebration. Noooooooooooooooooooooo.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

For anyone who watched him play in Italy, is he more of a natural striker eg Aguero or someone who plays just off one eg Nasri?
Can we expect him to be getting lots of goals or is he more likely to be getting the assists.
