I fucking love Charlie 'Gums' Adam!

GOAL - Stoke 1-0 Man Utd - Charlie Adam (38 mins)

Unbelievable. David Moyes just has no luck, does he? Stoke win a free-kick 40 yards out, Charlie Adam decides to just put his boot through it and, with the United wall parting like the red sea, it hits Michael Carrick on the edge of the area and deflects into the back of the net with David De Gea wrong-footed.

Fuck your luck Gollum, go and fuck a duck instead.

Dunno, I'd rather Spurs keep winning and stay ahead of Utd.

Speaking of United, even with Mata / RVP / Rooney they still look total shit. I'm not really sure exactly what the problem is, I suppose
its Moyes.

That said Utd are offering more going forward than Stoke do (who really are terrible) so I think Utd will end up winning, and since Everton have gone behind now too it could end up being a good weekend for them.

I think we are going to have to pin all our hopes on Liverpool to stop Utd finishing in the CL places.

Stoke are playing against the wind.they will batter the rags in the second half!

Oh and the irony, Phil Jones went in with the elbow first against Walters, but ended up injured himself.

Barca are terrible defensively. If we play anywhere near our potential we'll score with ease.

Pat Nevin, BBC Radio 5 live at the Britannia Stadium
Stoke 1-0 Man Utd

"How unlucky is Manchester United boss David Moyes? He starts off today with two centre-backs in Jonny Evans and Phil Jones and they have both been forced off injured. Even worse, his team have been on top in this game, and they are behind.

"Now Jones has gone off, Michael Carrick has dropped back into the centre of defence, and Wayne Rooney has dropped back into midfield to play alongside Tom Cleverley, with Welbeck going up front. Moyes could have brought Darren Fletcher on to play in midfield but his team are behind in a game they need to win."

Watching the Hull v Spurs game but keep catching snippets off the Beeb. Why drop Wiggy into midfield and put Cleverley upfont, that makes no sense at all to me. I suppose that's why they are where they are.

Anyone with half a brain could see that Solskjaer was a shit appointment. To go from norway to the premier league in one step is too much. Do it the Uwe way. Work your way up. But because he played for United he must be good......

As funny as it is seeing United not only losing but also picking up more injuries, I hope that one on Jones doesn't end up being anything too serious. Hopefully just precautionary, but its not nice seeing players getting stretchered off for head injuries. Even if they are rags.

Would be a great set of results if United do lose though. Hopefully Liverpool will win tomorrow in that case and go 9 points in front of them. That won't be too easy for them to claw back.

Slightly off topic but has anybody noticed the Rags loaning/selling players off to their own again. What was it, 2 to Cardiff and Fulham, was there anymore that I missed?

I wonder if the Rags have to play Fulham again; Cardiff have already rolled over for them.

Perfect example of what's wrong with the current offside rule.

Ha ha ha, just as Baron Greenback was saying the Rags play was 'Phenomenal, nam nam nananam', they turned into the muppets.

Go on Lesley, you show the fuckers.

It was a perfectly good goal. But with the old, black and white offside rule, it wouldn't have stood.

United punted a long ball up the pitch. Two of their players, including RvP were stood offside. The stoke defender probably felt he couldn't leave the ball for the keeper, because of the row united players behind him, so he panicked and fluffed his clearance straight to a unites player, who passed RaP. No one was marking him, since he just had been standing in am offside position.
