It seems our man in Stretford is getting into trouble now:
polonius (Manchester United): "I thought we played well.."-Sigh..This is the eight time we've been beaten in the league we've heard that. Yawn..Broken record. The man thinks getting to the byline is the name of the game. At full-time, we had 33 attempts, with 5 completed. The summer cannot come quick enough.
boxtobox (Manchester United): moyes is an idiot.he hasn,t learnt a thing.useless tool.get rid of now
mightymax (Manchester United): Evans Jones Smalling Cleverley Carrick Rooney Young... What is it with our obsession with starting with British players. We are quite extraordinary compared to top teams of PL when it comes to this. Why on earth? Not really working, is it? i don't get it.
rpbartlett (Manchester United): well zaha gets man of the match on his debut for cardiff. Yet we have to persist with clowns like young, welwide, and valencia. I just cant get my head around why moyes just didn't give him his chance
el_chicharito29 (Manchester United): After watching todays match again, I think Moyes is confusing these players, just seeing them running around aimlessly, i felt sorry for them boys. None of them knows what their role is on the pitch, the defenders thinks they are the attackers while the midfielders thinks they the defenders. They say the players are the problem but its clearly the manager. I would certainly not give this man another season, especially with no CL next season we might end up in the second half of the table breaking even more records, not to mention him loaning out a player who clearly had the ability to help out the team and goes off to set up a goal at Cardiff. He has to go.
jimshady (Manchester United): this is so tough to take, substitutions baffled me today! jones off for welbeck with fletcher on the bench? young playing instead of valencia against tough tackling stoke?? gimme valencia any day to stay on his feet and battle!! wheres vidic gone?? rio even? no cb on the bench? 'i know we'll put welbeck on for jones leave fletcher on the bench and put carrick centre half'? what?? so we lost two midfield options along with two defensive options in one swoop and leave cleverly on his own to battle stoke of all teams?? theres only so much mata and rvp and wazza can do when they have the ball but they couldnt get it cos the defence was such a shambles and hiking the ball anywhere!!
united-we-win (Manchester United): Right in any other club it's a results business and if the latter do not happen then sack the manager! But according to tv radio pundits it's different at united there has to be anarchy disharmony a division within the club rightttt so let's keep going hoping it turns around what a load of bull. With the way things are I think we will lose 14-15 games this season utter disaster
130tc (Manchester United): Sigh....he's had long enough to decide on a settled 11..and the best 11. Look at Gus at Sunderland. He hasn't needed a year. Talented managers don't. If we can see it why can't he. Sometimes IT IS obvious. It is just frustrating now. Looking at the team sheet before a match is just becoming painful, and then they take to the field
emicallef (Manchester United): chrispg - most of us who tell it like it is had to undergo some painful times over here, confirmed by hundreds of thumbs down .it is not that we ever felt in any way superior to what you so describe as 'amoebae brains',but it was all so clear except to those who shut their eyes.it is unbelievable that proven and worthy United legends still alive and kicking, could have unwittingly get it so wrong ? or could they ? I know it is always the singer not the song.as the black said, 33% of lost fights is very serious and there is every chance of that number goes higher.but,Giggs has notched 800 and bully for him.and our coach ? stating that he does not know what he has to do to get a win. doesn't that make you very afraid >? i know i am
destroyer (Manchester United): 1Welbeck is horrendous but yet moyes brings him on to play behind persie,, mata assisted rvps goal when in the #10 role! Im trying to give moyes my time and patience but he keeps shooting himself in the foot, why not bring on fletch and leave the front 4 as they are. Also it says it all when rooney is our best CM when asked to fill in, always looking forward looking to penetrate something which tom not so cleverley cannot do to save his life, he is so bad it makes my heart bleed to see talented players like powell zaha and lingard shipped out on loan as they are "not ready" for 1st team, cleverley has NEVER been ready worst midfielder in europe by a distance
zulu united (Manchester United): What do we have to do to win??? Surely that says it all this guy doesn't have a clue, as much as I loved Ferguson he has made a huge mistake with moyes! He not good enough simple when were struggling he doesn't know how to change thing to make it better, we could have signed Harry Redknapp he is a great manager that gets a team playing brilliant attacking football look how he got spurs playing, he can spot talented player n get them motivated look at Bale for example! Sometimes admitting you got it wrong is hard but it takes courage, Mata great player but more is needed. Moyes can't attract the players we need, seriously 8 defeats so far is not good enough he doesn't deserve more time by the time he is finished messing around the whole confidence of the squad will be so low and not easy to turn things like that around. Fergie needs to step in n sort things out before it goes too far if it hasn't alreadyGGMU
garyperera (Manchester United): Enough is enough! If Liverpool win at West Brom we are going to be 9 points off 4th with 14 games remaining. I think we need to face reality Mr Moyes and stop saying we played well. We didn't. We are not going to finish 4th now and that's a fact. We are woefully short of the standard we need to even compete at this level and it doesn't matter who we buy in the summer with this useless manager in charge we will not be successful. One other fact I heard today was that United have not salvaged a single point in the last 10 minutes of any game this season. That is what we are famous for, late turn arounds. I think that shows that the fighting spirit, which Sir Alex's teams were renowned for has completely gone. This season is as good as over
moral (Manchester United): To be out of the running for a champions league spot by February 1st despite having spent 64m big ones on a championship winning side takes some doing. Yes we are all aware that drastic surgery is needed but losing 1 in every 3 league games is unacceptable. I think Moyes was always going to get a minimum 2 years so I think we may have to put up with this until the summer of 2015. If at that stage things are anything like they are now, Moyes will be escorted off the premises
stoney10 (Manchester United): a few of us on here have said this was going to happen for the past year or 2,but we got slated etc.well well well look whats happening, dont say you weren't warned
taj (Manchester United): I think we are in serious trouble, and its painful to watch. Buying mata and playing him wide right...My God. !!!! Any manager who can do that has seriously got problems....cant wait for our super solution Ryan Giggs to start in central midfield next !!!!!
roygbiv (Manchester United): I think managers are often unfairly blamed and too easily disposed of, especially when they have a clear vision of where they are going. David Moys, however, doesn't, so why should HE be given time. Time to do what? I ask. He's been in charge since June and I have yet to see A SINGLE hint of him being capable or worthy of leading our great club. Blips and bad seasons are part and parcel of football but this isn't a blip. This won't be just "one bad season". This is the new norm. This is the new Manchester United. This is what you get after shamefully ignoring facts, failing to deal with glaring weaknesses and hoping that a mediocre manager will perform miracles. Guess what? We're out of miracles. All that's ahead of us is mediocrity
