I wouldn't feel sorry for them if a fucking lump of rock from planet zog flattened their piss stained stadium to ashes...in fact I would fucking laugh....forever.

Yes they were, & for MUTV they were as fair about the whole thing as you could expect.

I mentioned in another thread that Arthur Albiston has always been one of the more reasonable rags & the bloke alongside him wasn't too bad at all. But the comedy 'excuse' lines were still there, which was understandable, but no less amusing. For example, City won the toss, so elected to make Utd face a gale force wind. This went from being 'a factor' to 'the main reason' Utd were pressed back in their own box for most of the first half.

Then came the 2nd half; "I must say I'm surprised that Utd are still struggling to get over the halfway line.." So it became that 'perhaps' City's players were a bit older & therefore physically stronger. And then it was decided that this was indeed the reason why City, in the words of Albiston; 'taught Utd a lesson, not only in passing but in how to press the ball'.

Then they confirmed this by discussing how the strength of Ambrose held off young litlle six foot Callum Evans to score City's 2nd, due to Ambrose's age meaning that he is physically stronger than the poor little rag scamp.

It actually turns out that Ambrose is almost two years younger than Callum Evans. He is just much better.

But for a pair of rags, on a rag TV station, they probabably gave us a less biased commentary than Owen, & there were non of the snidey remarks you would get from Martin Tyler. They actually mentioned several times how we were on a 12 (now 13) game winning streak.

Fair play to them.

Gollum can't get away with the fact that the scum won the title going away with the same group of players as last season. He inherited a seeded spot in the CL and got an easy group and a passport to an easy last 16 draw against Olympiakos who've just lost their best striker. Needs time to bed in? How about Pellegrini and Mourijho? Sorry Gollum you've been shit this season and by the way Martinez has turned Everton into a much more attractive side who are better than the scum. Yes van Persie's been injured but we beat you 4-1 with Rooney and van Persie playing.

I was surprised at the analysis on munetv. I thought I'd listen to the bastards squirm for a moment but they were, as ted says, as balanced as you could get considering the handicap they are under. A shame they resort to out-and-out lies but they are munes after all.
