Thought crossed my mind. We did buy Komps as a DM after all

Demi and nasti at the back? Lol. No

Happy to see Lopes on the bench. IF (big IF) things are comfortable it would be great for him to get on for twenty minutes or so.

Demi wasn't bad at DM in all fairness but he isnt a scratch on Ferdi - but much better than we've seen from Rodwell - will be an experienced head on front of the back 4, i hope!

Very defensive lineup for Chelsea.

Nasti better not fuck up this Chelsea match.

I wonder if Demi being in midfield will allow Toure to go forward more since he and Fern normally rotate who is back and who is forward it seems. No way will Demi be forward so Yaya can play up a little bit more it seems.

Actually, I think it's the negative opposite. Pellers doesn't believe in Milner.

Or it might just be that Milner is recently back from injury.

One of the two or both.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

yeah that was the only thing that made me think otherwise. But maybe pellers is confident enough with Vinnie in front of them.

I think that would unhinge the defence. I'm sure De Michelis will play defensive midfield. He likes piling in to pinch balls which is safer playing in defensive midfield because there'll be cover behind him. I'm very uneasy losing Fernandinho so late in the day. Also worried about our left flank. Really Negredo or Dzeko have to fall back and help out when we haven't got the ball otherwise we could be monstered.

That's why I would've like to see Milner. Hazard could be a threat on our right with Navas and Zaba forward so often

Some strange things being said in todays match thread. Kompany into midfield? Giving the youngsters a run? Come off it.

Fernandinho out is a huge blow, but I wonder if Mourinho is going even more defensive than I expected them to, which gives me a bit of confidence. Hopefully we don't overreach and give them opportunities to score. Wouldn't suprise me though, its been a while since we've done something stupid to give away points. A draw isn't ideal but not a disaster for us.

Huge opportunity though if we win!!!

We need Vinnie as a CB, not Dm or anything else.

Do not underestimate Eto`o. The fucker is old, but his class is permanent. He only needs one shot.

Personally, i am more afraid of that fucker Hazard, but i hope King Zaba will show him who is the boss there.

One less man they must cover all the time i would rather have Milner there , Demi know make bad pass on risky area.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Lot to be worried about here, Demi is very slow, yaya tracks back poorly and along with a slow Demi they both will leave huge holes, to cap it off nasti is a complete liability.

Turned out that Monday night is pubquiz night at the local put, so I'm back in my hotel room looking for a decent stream. Probably a good thing, though, considering the stat of my stomach ...

Fooook, central midfield is the key area under Pellegrini's system.

I'm assuming Chelsea is a 4-3-3 and not 4-2-3-1, like they have been

Cech
Ivan Cahill terry Az
Ramires Luiz Matic
Willian Eto'o Hazard

We could get overrun in midfield due to our 2 strikers.

Positively bricking it over here

Think Milner on the bench might be for when Demi's legs go!

lets hope to fuck that Negredo is just thinking of the 4 goals he's behind Serg and wants to get that ball in back of net to play catch up!
