I really hated all that stuff about quadruple.
Already, this season compared to last is much more enjoyable.
We should win the league, if we don't it will be disappointing.
Win the league and league cup in a new managers first season would be fantastic.

Win the League Cup as it is the only domestic trophy I have not yet seen us win live (just too young in 76). As it's nice and early it means we can then dream of a double for most of the rest of the season. A double would be fantastic progress. If we don't win the league, then less than second would be disappointing.

If we don't win the quadruple I'm finished with football. Skysports has convinced me we should win it, so if we don't I'm not renewing my season card.

Supporter since 76 so winning anything is a good season. Still not used to it. Would love it we won the league. I liked the parade last time. Great day.

League Cup for starters. Not sure how we'll fare past Barcalona so a good fa cup run as well and the league. The latter going to go to the wire I reckon and hope we pass the finishing line!

I think we have to win the LC now so I'm kind of counting on that and then anything other. Btw obviously we could lose that game but I think it would be a let down really. So yes win the LC and ideally the league and I'll be very very happy. Bear in mind its still all a dream obviously!

If we were to beat Barca and get further in the CL, win the LC and the league I'd say *were across the line in 'The project'.

Edit. Sorry - 'we're' (for cunts)

Concentrate on, and target, the league cup.

Get that, a big day out at Wembley, with some silver and nice cold bubbly after, will give our players the hunger , the vision, the appetite, to overcome both fatigue and minor "injuries" (. ..the sort that keep RVP disinterested/back in Holland for weeks ) to kick on the extra mile for more , more and yet more.

Win this , and our players will run , on crutches, on broken glass , through crazed dogs , and burning petrol, for MORE .....

Last 2 in League Cup
Top 3 in League
Last 4 in FA Cup
Last 8 in Champions League

is a good season.

Win any and its very good.
Win League or 2 pots and its very very good
Last 2 or better in CL and it would be historic

Fair comment, I can live with not winning quadruples. I've managed all my life so far, the odd trophy and good old fashioned entertainment will do me.

If we finish empty handed, were gonna look like cunts, but for me this has already been the best year so far of the 'project' and anything we can win between now and the end of the season is a bonus

If we scored 100 goals then that would be a great season...... Chuck in a League Cup and a top 3 finish then that's a real success for me.

This board teaches me so much.

So xenophobia gets some people wound up and war gets some others wound up?

Let's talk about both and get everyone wound up. Then we can all say "wow" when there's a reaction.

Life is truly amazing.

May come as a surprise to you but many people don't view soldiers as automatic heros. It's just a job.

It's commendable that you sacrifice yourself to a higher authority without question, but that's no different than many other professions such as being a monk or having a corporate job in countries like Japan. Some would say that you can only find true freedom and nobility by being subservient to something greater than yourself, regardless of the correctness of that higher authority. While others say that your decision to volunteer for the military makes you accountable for the moral actions of the group that you've chosen to join.

I'm somewhere in between. I don't think it's fair to judge individuals too harshly based on decisions from leaders of their organization, but I also feel that the hero worship of soldiers is a sickness in America and makes it easier the justify future wars.

So throwing around your credentials as a soldier as a way to demand respect is just as pitiful as threatening violence on someone that you disagree with.
