Fernandinho and Garcia are out, Milner and Lescott both fit.

Money on Demi in midfield and Nastasic at the back?

Edit:
CITY: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (c), Demichelis, Clichy, Navas, Milner, Toure, Silva, Jovetic, Negredo

Probably so....

It's one of those games I just want a win no matter how it comes.

Coupled with an Arsenal slip. I think asking for a chelsea slip might be pushing the boat this weekend.

Ok, this is how it is.

I didnt have a drink out of my lucky cup on Monday as I was at work before the game and got up too late to have one before setting off for work in the morning.

I've had a drink out of it this morning.

Normal service will resume.

Can't see Milner starting. Even with Demi and nasti we should still have enough to get the job done.

Difficult to second guess the line up - Pellers must win attitude lends itself to strongest team available to him.

But with key players out who are still a little way off being available to him, coupled with the hectic fixture schedule, it might make sense for him to try and win this without over stretching resources.

So play a strong side and complete the job by half time and take key players off or battle for 90 with a lesser team.

Or just smash them with whatever team we put out!!!!

The only change that I want to really see is JoJo starting over Dzeko's uncoordinated twin.

Not impossible he will go for Milner & Jovetic. Norwich don't have the same physical power in the centre as Chelsea, so we could risk a less defensive player in there.

If he does that, I expect he will put Demichelis at cb.

I'm afraid you are right, but I would go today with:
Hart
Zabba - Vinnie - [strike]Lescott[/strike] Demichelis - Kolarov
Navas - Yaya - Milner - Silva
Jovetic - Negredo/Dzeko.

so obviously I'd put JL in there but as it ain't gonna happen then it's Demi. I'd start Jovetic with either Beast or Dzeko, another one starting today and the other on Wednesday.

but no messing around/resting players here, let's take the three points today and if somebody needs to be rested (Zabba? Kolarov? Silva?) then it is a home game where that should be done.

One defeat in fuck knows how long and all your arses are starting to wobble. Let's hope the players aren't as cringing as some of the fans.

4-1 City (Manchester).

Agreed. As I mentioned before, although no game is easy in the PL, we could hardly imo have picked a better game to bounce back. We have a fantastic record against Norwich bar the dead rubber at the end of last season and regularly score 4 or more against them. They play open attacking football and leave plenty of space as well.

Really looking forward to this.

Negredo hatrick, Yaya brace and a screamer from Zab. That's my FFT sorted then ;-)

Feeling confident of a win and with the big games coming up I think we'll see a few changes with some of our 'A' players splitting this and the Sunderland game.

Looking forward to it, Come On City!!!

I think it's time for Jovetic to start a game and after Edin has had a bit of an ankle problem he may well be the one to start on the bench.Or maybe Negredo is still feeling the effects on his shoulder and won't star.He has been way off the pace in the last 2 games.

Pre training yesterday MP had quite a long chat with Milner.Maybe to tell him he would start in the middle or maybe to explain to him why he wouldn't start.

Decisions decisions. We all know we should and probably will beat Naaaarch but there will come a day when they fluke one against us.Just not today.

I'm in the 'hoping for a Jovetic start' camp.

IMO in his limited game-time, since return from his string of injuries, he's looked better and better at every viewing and his movement and energy have been very impressive. I feel that he could make a big difference for us especially with Aguero out injured, Negredo carrying a shoulder injury and Dzeko with an ankle know to contend with.

There's a tendency for fans to think of him as our 4th striker, due to lack of game time, but I suspect he may prove himself higher placed in the ranking and today would be a good day for him to put a marker down for a regular starting place.

Come on you Blues!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

I'm expecting to see us bounce back with a comfortable win today. When we lost to Chavs earlier in the season we beat Norwich in the following game 7-0 more of the same today please lads.We can afford the loss of players like Nasri, Fernandinho and Aguero against most sides and have way too much for them regardless.

Hope to see Jovetic partnering Negredo today.Joseph Yobo could be making his debut, I could see them causing him nightmares.
