I think he did not see the ball at all until to late but still he should score that.

Players showing great attitude the work rate off the ball from all players has been excellent.Great half of football but unfortunate not to ahead by more than the one goal.

Felt few nerves in that half. For me, league matches are more nerve jangling at the moment. City played well, which really helped.

Jovetic has been lively and that was a good goal but his control, at times, has been poor and he needs to cut out all the step overs and backpasses. those may work in soft Italy but not so well here.

Garcia has been pretty darn good. his positional awareness has been great; he's dropped back to cover for Lescott/Kompany when they find themselves out of position.

has the pitch not been cut? or is the FA cup ball heavier? the passing has been pretty poor.

I'm really happy with that, I thought we were excellent. Hopefully we can have the same again in the second half.

Unlucky not to be more than 1.

Brilliant half. Both fullbacks have been good. Garcia has been excellent, Silva and Dzeko have also been quality and Milner working hard as ever.

City ( MP) learned well from the other game v Chelsea.Let's hope we can do it for a full game.I very much doubt that 1 goal will win it especially when they bring on more attacking players to really go for it.

Great first half. Totally in control.

Lescott-Kompany proving yet again they're the ideal centre back pairing. Anyone who thinks Nastasic or Demichelis is a better option is clueless.

Our midfield is playing very well. We're doing well against Hazard but he's still their main threat so we have to keep him quiet.

Just need to kill the game off early in the second half. We're the better team! Let's finally prove it!

As it's a knockout cup game and not the league Chelsea are going to have to chase the game. This should give us some chances to hit them on the break. The importance of the first goal was huge, let's hope we capitalise second half as the c
