Congrats guys, I'm a HUGE mancini fan.
Been following him since he started he's managerial career in italy. Not a single year past by with him that he didn't win a trophy. HE IS A WINNER.
People (in here) say that he plays a boring football but that is simply not true. With lazio the team played an attacking very compatitive football and he won the coppa italia.
I'm pretty certain that he'll be a success in england. He's a great man manager and knows how to motivate he's players. Personaly i "always" rated him higher than Mourinho. You will like him nodoubt.....
The thing about Mancini that i like is that he always create a winning team out of an "un-winning" teams. When he took over the Lazio job, lazio back then were a team that was struggling soo much with their debts and couldn't sign decent players but he turned that team into a winning team with a very compatitive attitude.
The players played their hearts out and he made some un-known players into a known stars (atleast demosticaly) players like Pandev, manfredini and others. Like i said I'm a fan of the guy and the work that he's done over in Inter and looking back at the Inter that he created i can easilly see a better team than the one that mourinho is creating right now.
Have faith in the guy and you won't regret it....

To get consistency (stability perhaps a better word?) you need the right appointment first. To build a dynasty you need the right appointment first. If Pearce had still been in charge when the takeover had happened how long would youhave given him to prove whether he could step up or not?

What should we expect from Mancini? No one seems to have answered the OP yet. You seem to know the most abouit him, so what will he do?

His philosophy is simple; build a team - defenders are there to defend, midfielders are there to open up the opposition, forwards are there to score goals, or, when they are not scoring goals, to help the team score goals.

Yes he will. He is Khaldoon's man.

Oh great, another Khaldoon expert! What else does Khaldoon say? Who does he want to sign in January? Where's he going on holiday next summer?

Khaldoon has appointed Mancini, which means he is his man, true or false?
