My team would be:

Hart
Zaba-Vinny-Lescott-Clichy
navas-Yaya-Fernandinho/Garcia-Mliner
Silva
Negredo.

I dont think we can play silva wide left, dani alves have a field day, milners the man for that job. I think we will win the midfield battle with that team and negredo bashing them up front, dzeko a bit soft for this type of game. I also expect Demi to start but not the end of the world.

If we play Milner, we'll get thrown out - he's suspended.

Mind you, I've just said the team I'd play at work and someone pointed out I'd named 12 players.

o shit is he?how did i not know that! urrrgh kolorov to replace him even though i hate him on the left of midfield!

I wonder if there are any plastic thingys on the seats, we have to hold in the air tonight, so it looks good on tv for Platini & Co ?

It should just say 'cheese'.

They're definitely doing one, as there was a competition recently for it. Hopefully it says 'Messi - Ronaldo is currently balls deep in your missus'.

Ronaldo has never been balls deep in anybodys missus ;)

Was he a Grindr contact? I'm happy for us to tell lies to put Messi off his game. Would UEFA be upset if 5,000 people shone a laser pointer at his eyes?

If you asked me whether I would rather win today or in the cup final in 12 days time the answer is pretty clear to me.
not trying to play down the importance of the game or anything but all that talk does surprise me somewhat

Anyway, let's show the world we're big boys now so come on you blues!!

It's not the biggest or most important, but I have got that same sick feeling as before a derby or cup final.

come on lads massive game with massive appeal, nearly everybody in europe (and beyond) who has an interest in football will be tuning in to this.

It is huge, but would you take a win tonight if it meant that Kenny saved Aguero's shot, or Berbatov scored that sitter in the semi and the rags won that game? How about Dickov's goal?

We're being built up to be knocked down. Look how Chelsea struggled when they were first in the CL, or the rags or Arsenal. Yet we're expected to win it this year or it'll be a failure, even if we 'only' did a domestic treble

Gutted I don't work in central Manchester anymore. Used to be brilliant when there were loads of foreigners trying to find their way to the swamp, struggling with the language and the money, wearing their rag shirts.

Seriously it was great with the European fans. Been on a few trams that were rocking with Spaniards or Italians that I used to wish good luck to.

Strangely and I don't know why am not nervous about this at all. They either going to teach us a big lesson in European football or we going to really make the world stand up and realise we are here and here to stay!

Gut feeling is that were going to rip them a new one and take two goal advantage to Barca. 4 - 2 City!!!!

Hear even the Sheik is in town for this one.

As much as the game itself might have less weight than others, what it represents is huge. Absolutely buzzing for tonight.
