Despite seeming to like 2 up front whenever he can I would be amazed if we played with more than 1.But I would equally be amazed if Kolarov was the answer to how to get control of midfield.He is not and never will be a midfield player.

I suppose the theory would be to stop Alves doubling up with whoever but I would not like such defensive thoughts.

He is the best option left midfield we have for this match imo(see my post earlier on the team id play) if milner is out, possibly a fully fit nasri could do that role but def not silva. Silva to play in the hole behind striker and retain possession for us like he did in munich.
