On another note, I can see the Barca players going down like flies at the merest hint of a tackle and also see the ref ensuring we are suitably reprimanded.

Well, that's what I see when Barca are under the cosh in the CL, don't see why it should change.

Perfect team given what's available. You could argue lescott but Demi might be more suited,

Bring it on!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am more concerned with Kolarov than Demic.Better going forward of course but surely he is there to help against Messi,Alves and Sanchez who play down the right.Trouble is Aleks can often rival Micah for who gets back slowest.

We can do this.

Anyone else think we have as much chance of beating them away as at the Etihad?

We need to go for it tonight.. IF we can get a 2 goal lead.. then we have a chance of winning the tie. IMO

Edit: Re reading my comment.. seems almost impossible! Keep the faith!

It don't always work. In fact rare that it does. Plus if its linked to twitter it sometimes requires you to have twitter in the first place.

That's my thoughts Doug. I honestly think that even if it's very close after this game, the Bayern game has given us a certain confidence that we can do it away.

Just hoping we've got a reasonable lead going into that game, it'll force them out and leave us to plunder them while their back doors are ajar.

Looking forward immensely. Strangely, I'm not nervous about result. If we lose, we lose. These two games will tell us little we don't know about City but it will teach our players a lot. Experience can only be earned by playing the very best. That just isn't there week in week out in Prem. It might take us couple of years to gain this experience in top class Euro football. I can wait. I've waited all my life to see City take on the best in a competetive game, not a friendly, so I can wait a bit longer if neccessary.

That said, I think we will accquit ourselves well tonight. It's a shame Aguero isn't fit as I think he could be the difference between going through or not, but it is what it is. We play with the hand we've got.

Come on City. 2-2

So 5 channels and languages to choose from if those gits at itv get on my nerves.

I only worry if Barca will start the diving / antics like they do against Madrid.

ITV are dogshit. The first thing out of their gobs is 'Barca warm-up with a 6-0 win against.....' but fail to mention that we warm-up by beating a recent CL winner.

Fucking gobshites!

Anyway, fuck them. Come On You Bluuuuuuuuuues.
