Playing Demichelis and Nastasic so often this season. Neither are good enough for a team at our level, yet Pellegrini keeps playing them.

We should have invested in a centre back, but we didn't and the only proven partnership we have is Kompany-Lescott. Neither Demichelis' or Nastasic's distribution is really any better than Lescott's (which is often used as the reason for playing them) and defensively they're both poor.

Pellegrini has got a lot right this season, but defensively we're a shambles too often.
