havent lost in the league when Kompany's been sent off.

havent lost the last 20 or so times when Silva scores.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Brilliant win. Reminded me of the games towards the end of the title winning season with the 'fight til the end' spirit. Silva brilliant but what an intelligent run from Edin for his goal.

Phooo, finally something to celebrate after a horrible week. A fine and gutsy performance from all the players. Can't fault any of them especially when we were a man down.
Up to 2nd with 3 games in hand. Sitting pretty I would say. We will win the league !!

Special mention for the defence, Martin and javi were excellent, so impressed with the organisation of them, solid line to catch them offside so many times

Yeah credit where it's due they did great today.I was very worried as it seemed like the nightmare scenario having that pairing at the back but they came up trumps.

This. A truly heroic performance against a joke of a referee.

What the fuck were you watching. Nine magnificent performances plus one out out if this world. Love them when they do that.

Nah Zabba & Nasri gave everything but they were like two 50 year olds. And people whinge when we rest players for an FA Cup game.

Thick cunts.

One of the best performances since the takeover. Great organisation from Garcia & Demi to save the situation.

Dzeko may start scoring again now.

Silva was actually more like Colin Bell today, than Yaya has ever been. Fantastic effort & skill.

I didn't say Yaya and Nasri weren't knackered, I said they were by no stretch of the imagination, crap.

Didn't fancy us today so soon after Barca and the way we're playing. I also thought if we lost today it might be all over with the away games we have coming and just looking so tired.

Winning like that with 10 men for so long, I think/hope that could be the game that kicks us back into gear and come May, we'll look back on as the game which brings us the title

Stick with one up top for the rest of the season. It suits us better and suits Yaya better. I'm not judging that on today's performance as our set up was obviously affected by the sending off.

They both played crap no doubt because they were tired. I thought Yaya was poor too and the manager obviously agreed.

Tonight we have convinced OURSELVES that we can win the thing.
Dave MOM. Dzeko close
DeMich - best game since joining us
Joe - Like Tomascewski in '73
Zaba - iron man
Clichy - best game this season

Epic performance from the team. That's the exact performance we needed from the lads. Silva needs to start shooting more often! On to the next one.

P.S: Hopefully that win will shut the boring one up for a bit.

Some interesting statistics, looks like the last two games when Vinnie was sent off, we end up winning.

Today was the third time.

What a performance and result. A must win game brings different challenges and boy, didn't the lads do us proud?

Feared the worst after Kompany sent off. Rightly as it goes. But the way we carried on after that was excellent. A brilliant goal from Silva to set us up but the shift by all of them after was great to see. To a man from Hart to Dzeko they had at least 8/10 games. This level of commitment has been lacking lately but was evident in spades today.

Coupled with Villas win its been a great day. Continue this next Saturday v Fulham and gain momemtum for the next half dozen and we'll need to buy another tub of brasso.

Well chuffed for Dzeko and hopefully he'll start a nice run of goals. As a confidence player this will do him world of good. To his credit, during his barren run he never hid or shyed away from goalsciring positions.

Well played Pellers. Has come in for some unfair stick on here this week and the blow of losing Kompany so early could have really put cat amongst pidgeons. Many managers would have shit it and made a substitution immeadiately. He stuck to his guns, had faith in his team and Garcia and MDM really stepped up to the plate; to the degree that they looked comfortable.

A fantastic end to the season awaits and I am relishing it. Keep the faith blueboys
