You're not wrong. When a teams players can't even pass a ball with little or no pressure, you know something's wrong.

Chelsea seem to be doing a Barca, go near them and they fall over. The ref even gives it.

One word for Galatasaray's "performance" this evening - pathetic.

It's getting ridiculous now, there just passing th ball back to Chelsea so they can have another go.

That was dogshit! I think Drogba made one header and got one freekick all night. Gave the ball away constantly and had no other interest but to take the plaudits from the home fans.

Looks like Maureen got Drogba to bend over with all the talk. A real waste of 2 hours.

It's been a good run and a great experience for the lads. Seems a decent format now that actually mimics where they might be in 5 years.

When you consider we were getting dicked by everybody at this level about a year ago, it's a remarkable achievement. Really unlucky tonight by the sound of it, but we saw that happen to Barca & Bayern v Chelsea.

Gutted for them.I reckon we were by far the better side tonight and didn't deserve to lose but one terrible defensive mistake cost us big time plus the fact that we had plenty of chances and couldn't get past their keeper who had an inspired night.

Sadly I think it was Denayer who let a weak cross go through him straight to a guy about 8 yards out who just knocked it through the keeper. Most of the time Facey and Denayer were in full control and anything worrying was most likely to come from us giving the ball away.Their first goal came from one of the rare occasion s that we didn't close the ball down well and the guy just smashed it from a long way out.Our keeper just didn't react to the shot till far too late as it seemed to totally take him by surprise.

Prior to them equalising we were probably coasting a little rather than going for the 2nd and maybe that cost us.After their goal we became urgent and created a number of chances. Some the keeper kept out with some fortune and some real quality but the one where Cole hit the inside of the post was just unlucky ( Andy may not agree) The run was superb from deep with a defender trying desperately tugging at his shirt. But he held him off, cut into the box and as the keeper came to him he picked his spot.He missed that spot by an inch.

So a little unlucky maybe but we should have gone harder for the 2nd.Even then it was our own fault they scored 2 as they had hardly threatened all game.

Woeful. When Mancini's teams are bad, they are really bad.

I think it is really good that Chelsea went through, they will face a harder opponent next time and they will have two more difficult games that can ruin their morale in the dressing room.

If they went out, they would had only the EPL to worry about, and Maureen knows how to make that is his favour. Let them face Bayern or Dortmund.

What a strange and somewhat juvenile comment to make about a good manager that was able to bring success to City.

And what a wonderful day it was.

Thinking about it, by default Galatasaray stayed in the CL longer than us. Oh my God, so have the Rags!

Yep.

It was bizarre how they clung to a 2-0 defeat, almost as if they thought that would see them through somehow. A nothing performance - offered nothing, risked nothing and deservedly got nothing.

What a little snide cunt you are.

You should remember that you share this board with real city fans.

Your constant digs at my club bug the shit out of me.

just because he was manager at City and won the FA Cup and Premier League title while at City doesnt mean that I have to automatically like him. i appreciate what he did for the club and understand the significance but, again, that doesnt mean i have to like him

it's a sickener but a part of me hopes the rags progress b/c (1) i am tired of hearing about the death of the PL and (2) it may keep moyes in his job a bit longer.

I think you'll find that CamelGob isn't the last option, he's their only option.
