This Weeks Other Games

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Mar 22, 2014 8:49 am

A big week for us and a few others with many catching up on their games in-hand. It all starts with a big-big game in Chelsea v Arsenal where at least one of them will be dropping points. If I had to predict the score then I'd go 2-1 for Chelsea but will be hoping for a draw or an Arsenal win.

This could also be a big week for the Dippers. Away at Cardiff to start and then a home tie against Sunderland could see them move away from Arsenal and really put pressure on Chelsea.

As for us, I've left us in their to show the whole scope for this week. I can see a win against Fulham but going into the Derby is always a worrier. The fact that we've beat them on their own patch for the last couple of seasons and that the Rags are a poor shadow of their former selves makes no difference when it comes to a Derby Day. We should know, we used to get the odd win when the roles were reversed.

All-in-all it looks like a decent run of games to get our teeth stuck into and after a week where Chelsea and Rags had to play CL I'm hoping that both of them are a little under the weather.

Today

Chelsea v Arsenal 12:45
Cardiff v Liverpool 15:00
Everton v Swansea 15:00
Hull v West Brom 15:00
Man City v Fulham 15:00
Newcastle v Crystal Palace 15:00
Norwich v Sunderland 15:00
West Ham v Man Utd 17:30

Tomorrow

Tottenham v Southampton 13:30
Aston Villa v Stoke 16:00

Tuesday

Arsenal v Swansea 19:45
Man Utd v Man City 19:45
Newcastle v Everton 19:45

Wednesday

West Ham v Hull 19:45
Liverpool v Sunderland 20:00

I love this opener to the weekend.

Not sure we can lose either way, but a draw would be nice.

PS. Trevor Francis on Fantasy Football Show hopes and thinks Man City will go on to win the league. He's always had a soft-spot for us and follows us closely.

Good man.

Just noticed that Vidic and Van Pussy are out for the Rags today against the Hammers. Maybe BFS can actually go at them now that Taggart has fucked off.

He has no choice as he needs the points but suspect he wont be able to revert from type and will setup for a draw.

Draw for the chels/arse game would be ideal.

To be fair, he took Bolton to the theatre of increasing desperation and won at least once, if not twice. I reckon West Ham are a good shout for the 3 points today. Hopefully we get a draw in the Chavski v Arseholes game.

Rvp out for six weeks.Good I'm delighted.

I still stand by my accusation that he feigned injury in a desperate attempt to run down the clock.

Big one going on at Liverpool's academy ground where City need to win to stay top of the league. We are all over them and at half time it's one nil... to Liverpool. We have missed quite a few chances, hit the woodwork twice and had a 1 on 1 saved. Then they broke away and their guy basically tripped over the ball but it ended up as a pass for a simple tap in.See it to believe it.

We will be into the wind and rain in the 2nd half but should still win.

And it's on scouse TV now if you can get it.

Actually BFS could have won last season against the rags had it not been for an offside goal by the rags.

1-1 now Brandon Barker puts it through the liverpool keeper's legs.

Thanks for flagging this up, Doug.

2-1 City, Celina with a lovely shot from the edge of the box after a weak defensive header by the liverpool lad.

Shoot the Arsenal Fan. Twice. :)

fingers crossed for a draw in the early match.
Incidentally, why is it that E'to looks like a 3d computer model of himself these days?

The 3d model looks well up for this match. Third game in a row that he's scored now.
