He was fucling woeful against Wigan but so were most of the others.

I was having a pint with my Raggy bro in law while watching the first half of the Chavs game and he came out with the most ridiculous bollox I've heard for a while. Toure has peaked and we should sell. He's usually quite sensible.

They seem to have a blind spot where midfield is concerned, from manager down to fans. Yeah let's sell a 20+ goal midfielder...

Not Cleverly though, is he? Or Fellaini who couldn't buy a goal for 50p.

Wouldn't swap Yaya for anyone I reckon

Was watching CBBC with my 6 year old the other day and kids were e-mailing who they thought would win the world cup. One sends in "Belgium because they have players like " Kompany, Hazard, Benteke, Lukaku and Fellaini". Its accompanied by a clip of Kompany scoring for City, Hazard scoring for Chelsea, Benteke scoring for Villa, Lukaku scoring on loan at WBA and Fellaini scoring for..........his previous club Everton.

I didn't see the Wigan game - no, not Wenger 'I didn't see it''; I actually didn't see that game - but I'm still making the point that people often say he's been quiet, just because he didn't do too many of those rampaging runs, or spent a lot of time near the opposition penalty area

And just to add - especially for those of you who've seen Liam Brady play - he described Yaya recently as a brilliant player.
Not very good - or great , which is usually the highest form of praise he gives a player.

But brilliant

I think Messi - and possibly Ronaldo - are the only players I've ever heard him describe thus; Liam is very sparing in his compliments

Funny. Worth a punt at World Cup though, Belgium. Very good spine and goals all over the park

Almost three years to the day when this thread was started, we're debating which of his several world class goals is the best. Says it all.
