Thank you for posting this, warrants its own thread and, as someone who doesn't read the twitter thread (though I like the existence of it so I don't have to read twitter crap elsewhere), I wouldn't have known about this incident without your post.

On a serious note I think a spitting toilet brush could be a very good idea. Along the lines of the wash o matic but taking the technology on show there into the toilet basin area. Right now there is a big skid on my doulton and as I live on my own I can only point the finger at myself so anything more dignified than a scrub would be welcome.
