We may or we may not, we can beat anyone if we play as we can, but I doubt Chelsea will lose there, so we need to make sure we keep on target whatever happens there.

Need to beat Southampton first who are absolutely flying , it should be a cracker.

Win that and then everything turns to Anfield , which will be the game of the season if we get a decent Ref.

Chelsea will beat Liverpool.

Those games in hand CANNOT come quick enough for me.

Our goal difference is only 3+ above Liverpool now. Granted, we have 2 in hand but its fast disappearing

Beat Southampton, get kun on for the last 20 minutes. Go get a draw at anfield. Win our remaining games while Chelsea beat Liverpool. Win the league.

Or bottle it and lose against Everton and Liverpool and draw against saints. Bottling it is definitely what our players are best at but we will see.

Luckily the dippers have to try and break down those rock solid defenses of the toon and the canaries. we may win it but we wont be on goal difference this time.

I think to say we are bottlers is unfair. The game against the scum 2 years ago on an unforgettable monday night was evidence to the contrary We need to be more aggressive in the remaining games. If we play at a high tempo we win if we stroke it about at leisure we are vulnerable. I think pellers needs to step up to the plate now and drive the team on. His indifference at times is annoying.

The same Canaries that were one of the few teams to stop us scoring this season?

All very intriguing and any combination of results can happen. Loving it. Pellers aint gonna lose his rag so its down to vince. I'm surprised he wasn't waiving his fist under Ya Ya's hooter yesterday. Not putting too much hope in Aguero. Strangely enough I think Jovetic might make a telling contribution.Got to be able to score some v Johnson, Agger et al.

It was always a sure thing that Le Arse and the Dippers would be there but I thought the Chavs would start to kick-on now.

Just shows how much the 'Special One' has dropped and the 'Interpretes Apprentice' has come on. Although, I'd say Wenger and Rogers had a start when it comes to it. One took the chance, the other failed again, miserably.

Fair enough comment, but it doesn't necessarily apply every time. We had scored 7, 6, 5 and 4 past them in recent seasons before they stopped us scoring in the most recent game

I'd be quite happy if Negredo could just re-discover his earlier season form.

It's got to happen soon now, hasn't it....??

I really feel like Edin has some more key goals in him before the end of the season. He's finally playing how I want him to...staying away from the ball and making key contributions when on it, in and around the penalty area

If and say If, We did the Double, Arse win the Cup, or Dippers win the league ! is Jose the one looking down the barrel.

On the dippers I was at family doo yesterday, My comment on beating the dippers is based on a team us has to stop them, otherwise IMHO they will win the league based on current form, which with an injury or two or a mad min from Louie could change, but does remind me of 2012 with us. Beat them at Anfield get the tactics spot on and WIN IT.

Negredo came on v Arsenal, chased a ball down like he used to & got on it, then instead of holding it & trying to play someone in for the winner, he just tried the stupidest, most impossible attempt at scoring you could ever see & knocked the ball into touch.

In recent times, he has been nowhere near even close to deserving a shirt in our squad, let alone the team. He is currently not fit to lace Dzeko's fucking boots & it's about time he pulled his head out of his arse & helped the team. If he can'rt score himself, that doesn't matter as long as he puts in a shift & helps the rest. Dzeko has been doing that & has also started scoring again.

If Negredo continues the season like he is playing now, it explains why he cost £16.4 million rather than 50.

Draw at Anfield and Goodison; win the other 6 games - perfectly feasible - and that takes us to 87 points.

Even if Liverpool win all their other 5 games they can only equal that points tally. Liverpool beating Chelsea in this scenario also eliminates Chelsea from getting near 87 points.

We have an extra game to add to our already better goal difference.

Job done.

Aside from us and Chelsea, the only other games where Liverpool may poss drop points are West Ham and Palace away, as their other two games are knock overs against Norwich and Newcastle.

Summation - we have no margin for error and need to man up on Merseyside for the first time in bloody years.
