Why doesn't anyone use Google anymore? 2009 over the Gael Kakuta transfer from Lens. But the ban was lifted. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 499169.stm

Not a chance that sticks, and itll be overturned on appeal like Chelsea's transfer ban that also never was - Barca have too many chums in high places Im afraid.

Meanwhile, in the interim, the tabloid hacks scrub out the "Kompany to Barca" story they were sure to run in the lead up to the Liverpool game, and alter it instead for "Kompany to Real Madrid."

To lay a marker down for next week now, in the days before the Liverpool game there is sure to be a Kompany is leaving, Silva is leaving or Aguero is leaving, tabloid exclusive - these stories pop up on cue before any big City match, as if by magic.

Looks like Messi will be retiring at Barca then.

It be interesting now if they will open the books at Madrid too.

Those two are the heart of the corrupt football in UCL.

What about it? Was I talking about Liverpool?

Look out next week, those headlines will come - always have in the days before any big City game, likely in the Sundays.

So where was Hart going? Barca or Real Madrid according to the papers a few weeks back? And with Valdes injured and no new keeping in, who's their main goalie now? Pinto? Lol!

That alone is a reason this won't stand and they'll get someone somewhere to overturn it in their favour ...

It won't stand, as someone pointed out last night on the radio - the law is flawed, if it was enforced Messi would not have been - rescued, fed and given the medical support paid for by Barca, if the law had been implemented he wouldn't have flourished and would probably have never been the player he is now.

Everything should be done above board. It might be a more extreme example, but saying the fact that he flourished because Barca swooped in and "rescued" him is not too unlike saying children with poor prospects should all be adopted - because they'd be better off.

You're right, but the process is wrong.

BBC BREAKING: Barcelona's transfer ban is temporarily lifted by Fifa after the club lodges an appeal against the sanction.

Never any doubt, we all said it long ago, when it was imposed in the first place ...

Before you know it Spurs will sack Sherwood and Arsenal will win the 4th place trophy...something we should dub "The Arsenal Cup"

In other news, water is wet, Pope is catholic etc etc.

Give it a week - "Silva/Aguero/Kompany to Barca" will appear.

Rumours Fabregas could be sacrificed to balance books. Worth a cheeky bid?
