Not sure about navas starting. Think we would have been better off with Milner in his place.

Strange decision...I would have liked to see him linkup with Aguero at some point, just sitting infront of MF.

Bricking it as usual. Worried about MDM against Suarez and two in central midfield. We'll miss Kolarov's delivery but Clichy has been playing much better recently. Disappointed but not surprised that Aguero is on the bench. Hopefully he''ll be unleashed against tiring defenders for half an hour.

I don't think too many will complain at that set-up. Understandably Aguero on the bench and I've no problems with Dzeko up with Dave playing off. Dzeko does seem to get some goals in the big games and if one goes in off his arse then more the better.

That wouldn't be my team, at all. But I suppose Navas offers the pace to get us something on the break.

I hope the Count has read it right. Great shot in the arm for Dzeko though. The way they have spoken about him recently is in the long term, as if they will offer him a new deal. Let's hope he shows us why, today.

Interesting that today will be the only time all season that Liverpool have played a game under any pressure whatsoever. That is diffused somewhat by the help they could potentially get from officials. Still, it would be very interesting to see how they react if things aren't going to script.

These things rarely bother me, but they've prepared the Scouse coronation, haven't they?

Sure have pal. They went one further with the Rags 20th Prem trophy in the 20th season of the Prem, having interviews and footage already prepared for Taggarts end of season mass love-in. He'd even had a statue erected and a stand names after him. The problem was, somebody spoilt the party and went and fucking won it in the last minute of the season.

I wonder who that was?

The media love the Dippers. Fuck, half of them have played for Liverpool and the other half have scraped a living writing so much shit about them. Sky sell their wares to the supposed 200 and odd million Dippers fans around the world and in this country the Dipper fans buy their back pages and centre spreads. It's all driven by sales, just like the Dippers new shirt release.

Anyway, back to the game. Vinnie's looking alright in the warm-up so far to check himself. Still a concern but let's wait and see.

Would have liked to see us start with Garcia alongside Ferdi and Navas in the bench but lets hope we hit then hard and fast from the off - attack the better for of defence.

Watching Mr Bloom as opposed to the build up - more of a chance of seeing anything positive about us.

I'm watching the coverage on NBC in the US for this one and it's just as bad. What time is Liverpool parading the trophy?

Are they wearing their new kit today - ideal time to advertise is it?

All the shite being spouted by Brenda and the Scouse media should have made Pellers' pre match talk much easier - just post their shite up in the walls of the dressing room and out we go.
