Imo a bit strange (tho I think he is a bit wary of Everton's wing play and I get that). I would've played Kola today, Clichy weds and Kola on Sunday. But all we can do is to hope this was the right call after all

Fernandinho hasn't been himself for weeks, has obviously been carrying some kind of niggle, same as many of the others. Yaya isn't 100%. One can replace the other for shorter periods if things go to plan.

We are struggling to get a fully fit 11 out for each game, in spite of thoughts by various deluded folk that we could have got through 4 games this week, as on the other thread.

We will have to manage the squad carefully to get through 3.
