Obviously, the pressure is off for us after last week's win. But I wonder what effect that will have on how we approach the game.

Some, but not all of our team, will want to revenge themselves for the thrashings we took for the temerity of being drawn against you in the cup (when we had an injury crisis to boot), so perhaps expect Adrian to be looking to keep a clean sheet.

Nolan is scouse through and through and would also want to ensure he wins our inter-club goal scoring table.

And, bless him, Andy Carroll is still under the impression that a good game might impress Hodgson in terms of Rio.

For the fans however, if we had to list the teams that we did NOT want to win the title, LFC and CFC are level-peggers at the top for teams that we collectively hate.

So, lets hope for a nice bit of weather and a good old fashioned, nail-biting kick about.....

....and a 5-5 draw to send home everybody happy.

A 5-5 draw is not what I want, unless we're 5-0 up and you score 5 in the last minute. Nolan and Carroll are worrying me

Papers suggesting fat Sam is to be sacked, so I wonder how that'll affect your players? I'm hoping it does to them what happened to us vs Middlesbrough when Sven had effectively gone.

I'd be very wary of sacking BFS. Blackburn and Newcastle both dropped like a stone afterward.

I thought it was Spurs at No1 in the list for you lot ? Or are you only including teams which might win it ?

Anyhow, I'm sorry but I can't share your enthusiasm for the draw. I'd take it after the game, but I don't fancy sitting there in the 93rd min on level terms watching you lot take a corner kick, so I'm afraid I'm hoping we get a rather decent margin of goals in front, as soon as possible!

If you were to get an equaliser with the last kick of the game, just as the ref blew his whistle, I wouldn't be arsed.

Seriously, I don't think my heart to take the strain of a 5-5 draw!

Come on Walmai, have a word and just roll over (PLEASE). I think you are spot on with Nolan and Carroll wanting to do a job for their own reasons. I think it will be a n ail biter and all depends how Allardyce approaches the game.

1. Go for it and enjoy the day
2. out-tactic us and revert to the same formation that frustrated Maureen (loved that press conference)
3. its all a bit of a mess as the dressing room are unsure about what Sullivan and Gold are going to do close season with Allardyce

I hope its 3!! Dont hold out hope for good weather, Its going to piss down for the next 5 days, good old Manchester summer!! So if you are travelling up, dont forget your Arc.
