CHAMPIONS!!!!

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I'm quietly pleased, apart from everything else, that we ended up by scoring more goals than Liverpuddle.

All the praise lavished on the Bin Dippers for the supposedly brilliant attacking football they have produced this season, has completely overlooked, ignored and overshadowed the outstandingly creative and aggressive play that we displayed straight from the opening day of the campaign.

If the Scousers were so intergalactically outstanding, how come we outscored them ??

As a further thought, how 'bad' is our defence ??

Throughout the season, it has been 'assessed' by all and sundry as being not fit for purpose, but it turns out that only one team has conceded fewer than ourselves (no surprise that it was Mourinho's Chelsea) and our defensive record contributed greatly to our remarkable goal difference which, at the end of the day, could have been a valuable 'extra point' for us, had it been needed.

Perhaps our shambolic defence isn't so bad after all.....

I never thought we'd see any silverware ever in my lifetime and I was at peace with that, maybe a league cup would have been nice and we had some quarter finals and that was okay, but we were always going to be an outside chance.

Now we're winning titles and cups and oh god they feel good. These fuckers who tell me it's a hollow victory all seem to come from clubs who have never had to play York City on a Tuesday night in the third tier, so what the fuck so they know? Drink it in you champions, you love a team crowned champions and each and every one of you deserve this and no bitter cunt who finish second on goal difference or second on a fucking fairytale can take that away from you.

Well said mate. Enjoy.

Absolutely, good on ya Slim.

The sound of that final whistle was the sweetest sound I've heard in months, even 2 up with 10 to go I was had fears the old demon would return and we would somehow fuck it up.
Onward and upward, pelligrini will have learnt a huge amount from this season and I expect him to do better next season.

At 75 minutes I knew it was done and dusted. Didn't open the bottle of Taittinger Brut until the final whistle though.

None of these players will ever know me, but "proud" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about every one of them.

MCFC is a massive part of my life , today was another fantastic day supporting the football club I love and have loved since being a small boy many years ago . Today I got drunk with my 18 year old son , shed tears of happiness with him and sang my heart out with him ........... Thank you MCFC , the greatest football club in the world !

Great day and atmosphere where I was watching it. Made even better by some rag mouthing off in McDonald's. Apparently Liverpool deserved it because they grow all their players. Haha

Micah made me sad today amidst all the hoopla and happiness I felt. Genuinely felt deeply sorry for him. How the fuck did rodwell get a medal?

Happy days. Happy...days.

Can't wait to enjoy the summer and see how we reload for next season.

Ouch. Down to earth with a bump. Was in a foul mood then remembered why I have a hangover ;-)

Not so chipper that bbc news hasn't pissed me off..... Lead sports story? Ashley Cole has resigned from international football, and not a mention of our glory.

Twats.
