Not this season though.
This season Panti's been better.

IMO a better keeper in a poor run of form.

I'd expect any player to be dropped if he was playing that badly and I don't see why Joe should be immune from the same.

This sums it up.

I still think Hart will recapture his form, but he had not been playing well for a while and it was costing the team points, and probably knocking his confidence too.

Therefore, taking him out of the limelight was the right thing to do.

Pantilimon has been playing well and fully deserves his place in the side at present. There's no need to change that at this time.

I see no reason to drop Panti. Spurs was a good indication of Panti's ability and made some fantastic saves. He need to work on his crosses, but he's doing exactly what is required otherwise.

Dropping Panti whilst he's playing well would simply be unfair and foolish imo.
Until he starts costing us games then he should be our number 1. If that means Hart doesn't get a look in for a while, then so be it.

I thought Panti has been very good so far, as he has always been when he played. Still convinced that we would not have lost the FA Cup last year if he had been in goal as he should have been.

I like Panti and sure he would make a good number 1 somewhere but the number 2 keeper now needs to go to an English player to meet the home grown player rule if Lescott and Richards are leaving.
