Interesting stat in today's Gruniard - we scored more goals from corners (13) than any other Premier League team - It surprised me as I normally bemoan how crap our corners are!

That genuinely surprises me. I never got too excited by corners as it seemed Samir was unable to get the ball beyond the first defender.

I'm not sure that's particularly true. I'm sure I can remember a couple of occasions where the oppo got corners & we didn't, even when we won.

Found this comparison from April last season, we had taken the 4th most corners at that point. Utd had less but scored 14 & us 7. They were the best & had converted 6.73% so obviously, not that many corners result in goals. We were running at 3.04%. Wonder how many points difference that accounted for ?
