He is also made of glass and has as yet not proved his fitness anywhere. If I was him I would spend a season in the lower leagues of Scotland getting 40 games a season under his belt before attempting to make a proper come back.

Even then, he is not English and came through the ranks at Hearts so he does not count as home grown.

He seems a decent enough bloke and could have been a top keeper if it had not been for injuries but I just cannot see him staying fit ever again.

I honestly never knew that Scottish players didn't count as homegrown. Having looked into it, you learn something new every day.
