Interesting that he didn't drop like sack of shite like he usually does when Australian feller tried to hack him. Had that been closer to penalty box though...
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Great goals. Shame for Australia and Cahill that he'll miss the next match

considering that he could have done that 4 years ago in the final in the box vs Spain and chose not to kinda disputes your point.

cheers

If Van Gaal is struggling to overcome a well organised Australia, how will he cope with Man United and their collection of averageness?

Makes me think all the more that the Spain victory was all to do with players being very much up for it.

Ooh, penalty to Australia...

2-1 Australia! Well, well, well.

Not a fan of the Socceroos, but that's harsh. They have been magnificent today.

Great game of football this. Aussies can only blame themselves for the (probable) loss here

Hard luck Aussie. Just a minute of stupidity cost them everything.

Holland are two strikers plus Nige. The rest are not good enough for our reserve team.

Good practice for Van Kneck.

Just on SSN .... The ref from the opening game who gave Brazil a very controversial penalty plus several other questionable decisions has been stood down and won't be officiating the Switzerland v France game on Friday.
