Haven't seen such a poor defense of a championship since last season!

But what is VERY good is that Silva will get a proper summer holiday! That may well be very important given our tough fixtures at the start of the season

Xabi Alonso doing a great impersonation of Gerrard. If he was English, he would be picked to play next to him. Neither of the cunts should be anywhere near this tournament.

Also Javi Martinez doing a great impression of Richard Dunne, as he is now.

Plus Costa= Jo. Political decision to take him imo, because he played in Madrid. Thrives on crosses; Spain don't do crosses.

That houndfaced cunt has got to be the stuffiest manager ever, winning World Cups on the strength of Barca & Real Madrid having two of the strongest sides in history at the same time, most of them able to play in his teams.

Should throw in some of the younger players alongside Dave & Iniesta, & go shit or bust.

A decent man, Hodgson. Not sure he has the incisiveness needed to get past Uruguay.

Although I would love an England win our defence is shite, therefore I am going for a draw at best.

Was very happy with Netherlands result (although missed last 15 minutes because wife was giving birth and we had to go to hospital..... no decency) and hoping for a loss here. Fresh Silva with something to prove is just what we need for next season.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

With a teeny little bit of luck, that might be enough.

When I used to play Subbuteo, it was just like Spain. Pass, pass, pass, pass...

Difference was, I used to score a few screamers from just inside The White Line. And my Subbuteo Rugby man took fantastic corners.

True great he will get a rest.Still disappointed to see Spain out so early, take nothing away from Chile but they hardly put up a fight.

it isn't fair to single out an out and out centre forward who is going hungry getting no service.

The midfield and Manager lost the game.

Where was Iniesta? Xavi poor.Silva poor decisions and choices. No one to cross the ball to Costa.

Remember this team won games without a recognised striker. They aren't geared up for a classical no 9.

Navas. perhaps isn't the best , but provides speed and crosses.

Congratulations mate.

Good you had the sense not to coinicide it with the title run in.

Delighted Silva & our other Spanish chappies who weren't there will be well rested along with Samir. The Spanish were the ones I was initially most worried about for next season apart from Aguero & Zabba. Yaya is totally knackered but I imagine he will be home soon, closely followed by big Ed & Vince. Fernandinho is sitting on his arse watching that wanker from Spurs run about in the heat. Going ok for us apart from the Argies.

Well thats a shock. Honestly thought they would come back into the tournament and press on from the Holland game. Good for us as it allows Silva a long rest which he needs before returning and getting match sharp for next season. On another note.... my dream teams fucked but then again so will many more!
