Shakhtar's Bernard apparently playing in place of Neymar on the left of midfield. He wants out of the Ukraine for obvious reasons. Worth watching tonight. City have been reported as interested. His agent's trying to get him out of his contract. Could he come on a free? Surely not.

One of the highlights of the world cup for me. The singing of Brazils national anthem by every single Brazilian in the stadium from fans, players and mascots as loud as they can even when the music stops. Just fuckin brilliant

If that German tosspot ends up as World Cup top scorer I'm going to be upset.

I don't think that's the only German goal of the match, so where are Brazil going to find the goals from?

Blimey - might as well go for a pint now.

Fat lot of good all that emotional fervour did them

Theyre doing to Brazil what Bayern did to us at the Etihad - they've got complete control of the midfield.

Fern to blame for two of the goals. He's having a bit of a mare.

No Silva to fire fight for them either - which isn't helping.
