Quifying method: Netherlands Extra-time.

I thought Fernandinho was looking dangerous in the initial spell before the Germans scored their first.

That wasn't a game where Brazil were just bad, they flaked out under pressure and were taken apart by a clinical and brilliant German team. They couldn't afford any passengers and they had a few players who delivered nothing.

What shocked me the most yesterday wasn't the result, It was the fact that Maicon was there!! He was so useless when he was at City I thought his top-flight career has to be over

On his performance tonight we could do worse than buy Ron Vlaar from Aston Villa. Superb tonight.

Just a scratch for Zaba there. Hard as nails, he'll be back on his feet in a minute

I thought he was really hurt there.

Meanwhile aguero looks like he should not be playing. He needs a real rest.

Sergio isn't fit. I hope he doesn't miss a penalty and get scarred.

Not a great penalty but Sergio scored thank goodness. I hope he gets all the time he needs to be properly fit. We've got three other strikers and we need to use them.

As a Netherlands supporter I'm so happy Argentina won tonight. The idea that the turgid shit that Van Gaal plays has got anything to do with football, let alone Dutch football, is hilarious. Hopefully the player that is supposed to be better than Johan Cruyff, Garrincha, Pele and every other giant that ever existed will turn up for the final. If not, it might be a good idea that the Argentinian players pass to their other forwards occasionally....
