I was exaggerating but if you were to guess who was the multimillionaire world star and who was the 17 year old rookie on their performances tonight you'd have them mixed up.
Exceptionally good talent.

They're interchangeable. In a sports science/medical context, acclimate means artificial adaptation (e.g. in a hypobaric chamber) while acclimatisation means natural adaptation (e.g. training at altitude).

It's so fucking american it annoys me. He was on about adapting to a new team anyway so it's definitely acclimatising.

Anyway. Kelechi has it. Whatever 'it' may be... He just fucking has it. Not seen a seventeen year old with this much promise in years.

All I know is he is MoM....
"The situation is that Kelechi hasn’t turned 18 yet and until he does, he can’t sign but what he has done is sign a pre-contract with Manchester City pending his 18th birthday," he commented on the transfer at the Confederation of African Football’s gala award ceremony in Lagos."

Yeah, I can safely say never have heard the word "acclimatising." Leave it to the English to add useless syllables and letters.

So October and he can join us then. Good news. I vaguely remember talk on the forum about him last season when we were trying to sign him then things seemed to go quiet.

Ha. Love that. Honestly had no idea 'acclimating' was a word. Never heard it my 28 years of existence. Have you never heard of the word acclimatise?

English comes from England. Anything else is a deviation from the standard.

I've barely heard it in my life

We're just Anglo enough to be unnerving. Like the uncanny valley effect.

Some of my precious thoughts....get some popcorn.
Guidetti looked like absolute dogshit. He looked like a chunky, winded, giant tittied man who has no business playing anywhere near City's first team.
Boyata, and Nasti in his cameo, looked pretty decent. That was nice to see.
Clichy looks like he's been on the Micah diet. Fat fuck.
Sinclair had a decent match. Again. He is a speedy fucker isn't he? I wonder if we might try and utilize him some way. More likely just in the shop winda.
I like Big Willy. He's...as his name suggests...the Man.
Aleks...nice pen. Dog tired at the end. Funny to see him that spent. Love him. Not in a Mase kinda love, but still...
Micah playing them onside for their goal was junior league shit. Fucking aye.
"That Nigerian kid"....we all said it. So, there you go.
Zucchini looks fucking fantastic.
I like the Octopus. He's a many tentacled lad. Looked pretty good in midfield, tho we did get overrun a bit at times in the first half which was discouraging.
Navas had a good match with his one trick pony stuff. His talent was just too much for the MLS caliber type of players. Not a shock, but showcases the talent gap between the US league and the best leagues in the world.
i thought Sporting KC actually comported themselves well in the first half and looked fairly good in spells. Hats off to them and their coach. 2nd half obv created a different dynamic, but they put the effort in and showed some talent in flashes. Not bad.
cheers

FFS.
I looked briefly on the OS & it said kick off at 8. Then I looked at the streaming site & it said Thursday. So I just assumed I'd got the date wrong & they were playing at 8, Thursday.
