Yeah, that he has got a huge fight on his hands if he wants to be No 1 at City, But I think he is up for it.

Also, Jojo looks impressive, hoping it continues. Boyata will never make it at City, Rekik is still very young, but not overly impressive. Fernando got better as the tour went on. Navas looks good, Toure is still as lazy as ever.

Most importantly, the main thing I have learnt is that Pre-season is over and the real football begins next Sunday!

That, regrettably, Guidetti is not looking like he'll make it at City and is set for either a season out on loan or a permanent move. Had high hopes for him too.

Noone likes Hart. He's like the paper clip in Word, no matter how useful he might be people will always dislike him and will always remember him for when he popped up unnecessarily and not when he was very helpful. Like when you always remember picking the wrong queue (or however it's spellt) in the supermarket but never when you picked a decent one.

I think this was a chance for the youngsters to shine or not. On Monday decisions will be taken. I expect Rekik to go back on loan Zuculini will go to Spain for a year despite his promise Micah will be sold ditto Rodwell. Don't know about Sinclair who did a bit better Garcia and Nastasic. Milner will stay for another season but I can see him going next season tbh. I don't suppose he was thrilled by Pellegrini's remarks about Lampard. Hart will be seriously challenged by Willy Clichy can play right back half way decently. Finally the young Nigerian looks really good but can we get him a work permit in October?

Our 'second-string' players (as opposed to our first choice players), when thrown together 'ad hoc' with some of our youngsters, managed to play a decent bit of football.

I think that's the biggest takeaway for me, that a basic second string side can step-in a put some lovely football together is an almost identical fashion to the first team. That should stand them in good stead going forward and at least give us options.

I have nothing against him. Just that I have this odd quirk that I dont like my keeper, whoever he is, giving away an unfortunate and unusually high number of fuck ups.

Umm yeah, that's a funny one. It is the weather, because we know games are never called off in the UK due to things like a frozen pitch. Because unlike lightning and the chance of electrocution, because a frozen pitch clearly puts the safety of fans in danger if say a frozen piece of turf flies into the stands and knocks put some geezer.

In all seriousness, while it has to do entirely with safety, it has little to do with weather and more to do with litigation. In this lovely litigious society the lawsuits that would come out of a lightning strike at a major sporting event would be staggering. Nothing more, nothing less.
