I see that all the tickets seem to have been sold and they have now opened the central 3 sections of the CB 3rd tier. I certainly hope we are sold out everywhere else as it will make a much better atmosphere. No idea if the barcodes have sold out but I very much doubt it, they don't like coming to our place.

I think we will have a very different line up to Saturday

Sagna Kompany MDM Kolarov

I read somewhere yesterday (maybe SSN), that the Geordies have sold out there 3000 allocation.

I would like to see that line up, but I have a feeling that Nasri won't start, and Kompany may be rested.

Newcastle have quite a few players out injured I believe so we should have too much for them.

If I see the team sheet and see that we have 2 strikers starting, I might just go and get back in my car and go home....I hope Pellers has seen that it doesn't work this season.
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

Sinclair? Really?

Nasri will prob come off the Judi Dench Id wager, though Id start him. Think Pellegrini goes a strongish team here with help on the bench if required, though its all guesswork. At a guess

I'd play Fernando instead of Jimmy to find out if the two Ferna's can manage without Yaya

Manchester City have named a strong team for tonight's League Cup tie. David Silva, Yaya Toure, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic all play. Samir Nasri makes his return from injury on the bench.

City starting XI: Caballero, Sagna, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko.

No messing. Pellegrini wants to retain the trophy. I guess Nasri will get some game time. Good to see that Jovetic gets a start; I'd be inclined to start him against the scum.

Maybe because they form is shit and need to catch it from last year
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
