Muck this season.
Not good enough, ok against the mid table sides but overall not good enough.
Don't buy this shit he won us this that and the other, any half decent striker would have scored the goals he scored.

Edin was really good for us when we needed him last season and it did look like Pellers had sorted him out. Sadly after some decent early games where the effort again seemed ok he has reverted back to his non energetic self and not worth his place.

Time for Jovetic to really show what he is made of.

Damn right bollocks. Without edin we dont win prem titles. People have very fuckin short memories of BIG goals. Edin and Yaya have scored massive goals when needed for this club.

Our most reliable striker of last season is struggling for a couple of games, possibly down to an injury, and some cannot wait to start hurling insults at him again. Raggy knobs. Worrying if we have to rely on two forwards whose combined absence last term equates to about a full season. But yeah, 'blessing'. Knobs.

Great analysis and you even got the correct spelling of knobs, which is rare in these parts. Post of the week!

Very true, even on the simplest level where everyone remembers the Aguerooooooooooo moment but forgets it wouldn't have been possible without the Dzeko goal just minutes before. I believe the stats that show Aguero to have the best goals to minutes ratio since the the Prem began also show Dzeko in the top 6? Sometimes he looks to struggle but over a season he is a vital element in our goals tally and points tally.

Some people quite like grass.

In fact, you might say some people are quite partial to it.

For myself, I like Cavani and would prefer him to Edin any day, irrespective of his (Edin's) 'history' with City.

However, you're obviously possessed of a greater footballing introspection than myself, so please feel free to continue spouting about male appendages to your heart's content.

Lazy quoting, sorry. Was agreeing with Bob's comments rather than particularly disagreeing with yours. In direct response to you, his goals per minutes stats suggest he is not just an average striker.

Just seen highlights of Fulham 2 City 2 in 2011/2012 and Edin's assist for Aguero's second goal was a master class in centre forward play heading down a ball into the feet of Aguero. Have not seen that all season from him and cannot remember that last season. Why he cant play more like a Drogba of old and boss games and win knock downs. He has the physique just seems to be too soft at times. He goes out wide more often and he is even worse than Stewart Downing in that position. If he could win aerial balls like 2011/2012 it would be a plan B instead of all this tip tappy stuff that only works when Silva and Nasri are playing and on form. Even Peter Crouch on the bench would give us a plan B if Dzeko cant do it and he's English and a City fan.
