Tancredi Palmeri, who I thought was reliable until a few pointed out he spouts a lot of shit and gets lucky every now and again.

That's all of them though.

I voted pogba tho I hate his crap hair and his lanky frame. He can plays the football however.

Barkley I like as well but I can't see us paying 60m. 30-35 tops. He's a fart in the wind tunnel of world footy thus far. 40-60m is a pisstake.

Cheers

Pogba for me, tho I'm in no rush to move Yaya on, as he's the best player I have ever seen. Barkley is always injured so I would nt spend on him until he has a significant period of time on the field.

Even with a silly money price tag Barkley would be in the heart of the team for a decade or so (assuming he is the right fit mentally for our team), and he's English. Assuming we're unsanctioned next season we're going to need to jiggle the squad to meet UEFA's requirements.

the best, but unproven, English talent is not valued at 50-60M. It's half that imho. And that's true of any nationality i think.

If you haven't fucking taken your club or your country by the scruff of the neck and jizzed in the face of football consistently....(e.g. James Rodriguez or Suarez or Kun or Neymar) then you can't expect 60M. End of story.

cheers

I think Barkley has real talent & could become something special, but so far, he has done FUCK ALL.

He came on v City & had a couple of decent runs vs a tiring side, gave the ball away a few times & chucked himself over a bit. He didn't actually even play better than Yaya whilst he was on the pitch, let alone prove he can run a game like him; we still created almost all of the chances whilst Barkley was on the pitch.

If he has an exceptional season from now on, he MAY show us he is good enough to start a game for City ahead of somebody when all are fit. So far, he isn't good enough to do that.

I think its fair to say that Barkley and Rooney are comparable, both young Everton prospects with huge potential, broken into the first team and also picked for England. Rooney was almost £30m 10 years ago. I suppose the only question is, can we be as sure about Barkleys future as baconface was about Rooney's?

Have gone for Pogba out if that list but to be honest I think we need a player who can take the game by the scruff of the neck. Someone who will fire up the rest of the lads when we are trailing a game or when we need to up the game a bit. Who is this player? Fuck knows at the moment.

Same here pal. Do we need a box to box midfielder? Seriously. Yaya isn't that player. If the DM are on their game its an attacking midfielder we need. Reus fits that bill. Bit worried he's made of the stuff Aguero is though. I like Mata, scores goals and is generally involved in a lot of good attacking moves. Yes he doesn't track back, but I'm not arsed about that. Let the defenders defend and the attackers attack. I know this doesn't fit in with the pressing game though so he'd be a non starter for Pellers.

Swinesteiger of Bayern I like a lot everytime i see him for either club or country. Big, strong, commanding, scores goals, tracks back, defends well and can play across the midfield. 100 caps at 27. Doubt he would leave Bayern though.

I must be in a minority as far as Barkley is concerned. I just don't see how he is worth the sort of figures being bandied about. Just my opinion.

He might bring his mate Messi along as well.

With regard to Barkley, I'm one of the minority, along with NottsBlue, who doesn't see how he can be possibly worth the daft figures being suggested/quoted.

None of them. With our new training facility yaya can play until he's 40. No need to replace.
