In the Mail this morning one of the headlines reads something like "On this form Van Pussie is up there with Aguero"!

If I was Aguero I would take the twat to court for writing shit like that. He scored two goals last night making his tally 7 for the whole season and all of sudden he is one of the leagues best strikers. Fuck me silly.

Staying in the realm of the ludicrous for a little longer, I pose the question "Just how stupid is Andy Carroll?"

He is quoted saying West Ham are challenging for the title, and then insulting his team mates who have been carrying the team this season by saying he is the best choice as striker, inspite of the fact that Sakho has 7 in 9 appearances and even Valencia has more goals than Carroll's massive total of 2.

Don't forget it is an injured Aguero he is comparing him to, so he isn't quite as deluded as you first think

News Flash: Liverpool FC lobby UEFA to get the match abandoned due to weather concerns. Apparently they're worried that the high winds and rain may have an effect on lighting their candles.

The best player for the Dippers on the night, who's only been on for 15 mins, gets his marching orders for trying to scratch the oppo's eyes out.

To be fair, the ref must've seen that as Markovic aiming at the oppo's face, regardless of the actual contact.

Ridiculous red card to be fair. Basel player went down like a sack of potatoes because of a flick of the fingers which didn't even seem to make contact.
